Should I post a negative review?

44 posts in this topic

I guess my point is, "there's no crying in baseball.",

If I go to a restaurant and the service is over the top, I write a good review.   If I get bad service, I don't go back.

I've experienced what the OP describes by a well reviewed provider on here, too.  She actually did it twice to me in the same evening.  I did not get laid that night.

Let's keep this in perspective.  I did not get robbed.  No one shivved me in the ribs.  No one gave me HIV.

I didn't get to have sex.  That night.

I won't call her again.  Lots of other guys have reviewed her since then.  Great reviews, too.   I was not one of the lucky ones.

It was not meant to be.    The next month I made an appointment with a new provider who knocked my socks off.....and to this very day refuses to let me put them back on.

Life is too short to spend it worked up over stuff like this.  Especially when there are so MANY other wonderful providers out there.

My perspective is that a No Show review is not a deal breaker. ROB, cash&dash, etc - say "Avoid at all costs!"

But the review needs to be written so that we can determine if there's a pattern. Without the review, there's no data to evaluate. If a YL's life is in such chaos that this happens frequently, then perhaps she should be at the bottom of our lists. If she disrespects our schedules, cancels on a whim, and there are no consequences (i.e. nobody calls her on it with a review), she will continue this rude behavior.

I used to think this way.   But I have decided, after getting to know many ladies, that they all move in different circles.   Usually, when I contact a lady, I get to be a part of that circle.   Because, it fits with her life at that moment.   But sometimes, I don't.

What is your motivation?   Anger?   Or do you simply want to warn the hobby world of this new "danger" out there.

Let's say, Bit, that you and I both are trying to make appointments with Suzy Creamschmear.  And she does this to both of us.  No NCNS, but multiple short notice cancellations.   You review it.   I review it.   Now, she's got two recent reviews that, essentially, say that she is a moving target.  Hard to hit.  But if she's been a good provider to others, especially the guys she saw in our stead, she will also have lots of good reviews interspersed with our disappointments.

Will this hurt her business?   Probably not.  In fact, since she is probably a hot commodity, it will INCREASE demand.   If she is NOT a hot commodity, and a lot of folks just stop calling her, she will have done immeasurable harm to her own business in he long run, whether reviewed or not.

Will it inform others of  bad service?   No.  We did not get to see her.  Those who did are posting great reviews.

All we will be saying is that you and I were NOT one of the lucky ones who got to see her.   We are men of action:  Whining does not become us.

Do you see how this is different than a review for bad service?

But it is a review for bad service. Service begins with the booking process and continues beyond the end of the appointment.

I'm torn on it. I could see both writing a review or not, and trying to see her again or not. Don't count on free at all though - or even five extra minutes of service. If you try for that, you're likely to get purposefully stood up/NCNS.

If you write a review, giving her a 0/0 and write it just like you did, it's also not the end of the world. I've seen a few of those on providers I've still gone to see. But then it lets others know they should post if it happens to them. If one person here or there posts those, someone like me will read them and have better information to decide to see her - or not wait around long if she flakes. But it will encourage other people to post if there's NCNS or fake excuses many times. And when I've seen a stack of those reviews and I've passed on the gal.

Which is the whole point of the review.

But again, depending on the girl, I might try a third time since she didn't wait for an hour AFTER the appointment to say she fell asleep (I've had that). If you're angling for a freebie not to post this though, I'd bet more than the price of entry that she will purposefully waste your time haha. And your review wouldn't stop me from seeing her if I was interested - unless the same thing happened to multiple people, then you'd just be the first to say it.

I don't know why you would ever want to post a negative review, or even a positive review. just post an honest review and leave it at that.

I agree. Just post your experience without second guessing her reasons. Let the rest of us make up our own minds.

It is critical that all required fields are filled out. If an additional website field is required please provide either a link to her website or a direct link to the ad you located the provider. Reviews that are incomplete or have incorrect information will be denied.

That said, we have had very few issues with this as the majority of reviewers enter all the information. In addition, as other threads have stated, the consenting adult activities and description of service is very important. When writing a review, think if you were reading it, what information would YOU want to know...then think what information would OTHERS  need and want to know.

Not a rocket science just make sure to ck for typos before you post. Some gals like reviews and some don't. I always find mistakes in mine and I hate doing that.

I am of the belief that you should just move on.  Her reasons for cancelling may be completely legitimate, you may just be the guy that has encountered all of her bad days.

1 no show, I'd move on. 2 gets a review. A no show review isn't a career killer. Other dudes should know she might waste their time. If I'm on a tight timetable and she's got a few no-shows not calling her. If I got all day, might take a chance.

That comment reminded me of a well-known provider here who will go unnamed. Pretty flaky, but gawd, what a wild ride she is! Sometimes throwing that unexpectable variable into the mix only accentuates the thrill!

Fuck. I gotta stop drinking and posting shit on the net. I forgot all about this post until I checked my hobby email. As for the free hour, I should have clarified, I ALWAYS book two hours. I hobby maybe six times per year, I only make appointments when I can guarantee I can can make them, I have a crazy ass job lol. I still haven't decided if I will give her another try. But I wont post a review. We emailed and I do think I just got the bad luck.  But good advice everyone, I was a lil drunk when I posted, if  I  can't get laid my buddy Jameson will always be there! I probably overreacted, but damn I was pissed. I took time off work and burned two vacation days. I'm over it now lol. Shit happens, move on. BTW I love that butt hurt form. I used that in the military for my green LT's! haha! And you guys that PMed me. I'm not telling you who it was, yet.
