Posted February 6, 2013 The hobbying world can be a crackup with its long list of initials, and various "translations." The "stage names" for the ladies are also amusing. How did you ladies choose your names? What were you looking for in the name? Do the ladies get irked if another competitor moves in with the same name? Posted February 7, 2013 When I worked at the boardwalk in Santa Cruz Ca I used to give the boys my fake name of Melissa Sterling...I figured it sounded like a great working name too. Posted February 12, 2013 I had a really good stripper friend who chose her name from a classic rock song. I wanted to honor her in a way for teaching me how to dance so I picked Ozzy. Posted May 4, 2013 Since I have no life other than work and the occasional dalliance, one of my favorite pastimes is to look at ad sites from acroos the country and look at provider names and pics and decide if the name fits with the pic. There are some very ingenious names being used. One traveling lady that is based in the mid west that I met a few years ago has a uses a very sensual name. It just rolls off your tongue when you say it. She told me what her real name, and her real name sounds more like an asp name than her stage name. Go figure. Posted June 25, 2013 I had just learned that there was already a woman in the porn biz using the same name I had just shot my 3 movies as ("Jamie Rae") - I literally had a mere 10 seconds to think about what I was going to change my stage name to when I blurted out "Fine, I'll be Danielle Rae" About 15 seconds after that I realized I was using the female version of my own father's name (Daniel Ray) DUHHH!
