Posted December 20, 2015 Is it normal for a provider that you have not seen to text you and ask you to come see her? I've contacted her before in the past to try to make plans but we could never make our schedules align. Same provider with no reviews and out of state area code has texted about 2-3 times within the last 2 months. Posted December 20, 2015 Did you do proper research when you contacted her before? Did you suspect she was LE then? Getting a 'cold call' from an unknown provider is one thing. Getting a call from someone I've seen several times is another. But this is a middle ground - you have expressed interest in her, but not connected. Posted December 20, 2015 I did...I suppose. A total of 3 ads appears from 3 different states including the one from Colorado. Her area code is from one of the states she had an ad. I've talked to her on the phone and texts. That's all. Two different girls including the one I've been in contact with appear in the 2 ads from the 2 other states. It seems like a traveling type of girl. I've seen those types of girls in the past with no issues. Posted December 21, 2015 Perhaps since you've contacted her previously and for whatever reason weren't able to connect, she's simply trying to make up for a missed encounter by texting you now. Your original question makes it seem as if this was out of the blue but that isn't really the case, is it? Since the original contact was as normal as any other via this activity, i.e., you contacted her to try set up a meeting, you weren't able to connect then but now that your number is in her cell phone data, she's trying to close the deal on that missed opportunity. I'll agree with the other posters that this is unusual but not unlikely in my opinion since times are tough and most providers have mentioned how slow things are now. Just because this doesn't follow the standard protocol of (Client initiates the call ) doesn't necessarily mean she's not legit. I highly doubt LE would initiate...but if you're still unsure... move on to the next YL who's been reviewed and verified on TOB and ask this YL to lose your number. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

When you are a new provider most men will not touch you with a ten foot pole until you get reviews. You become a slave to Backpage until you can get established. Also her being a new provider she probably doesn't know the protocol about not contacting men out of the blue. Everyone has had a different upbringing. I knew from the get-go that contacting men out of the blue is not appropriate. Others may simply not have that knowledge already inside of them. Maybe if she calls/texts again you could explain the hobby world to her in a very nice way.
