Posted August 5, 2015 A good start would be to go to the review section, bring up the Colorado reviews, and type "Colorado Springs" into the search box. You'll get lots of hits. After some studying of the results, and the escort boards ads, you'll soon figure out who's legit. Posted August 6, 2015 Welcome to TOB, it is always a pleasure to see a new face here in our community...As LaPlace mentioned the review board is a great place to start as it will provide a wealth of information about the ladies in the COS area....Also you might consider joining P411 as well as that makes the process of meeting ladies just a bit smoother and easier normally....And if you have any questions, just ask as there is normally someone who will provide you with the answers you are seeking provided you ask the questions correctly and make an effort to do your own research a bit before hand.... It is always a wonderful to see someone who is enthusiastic about the hobby so enjoy your time here with us and best of lucky in your hobby experiences... Have a wonderful day... There are several popular ladies right now with lots of reviews. Pick any 3 of them that you have never seen. Using information from their previous reviews, write a fake positive review for all 3 ladies. Space them about a week apart. See what happens. (Hint: nada) VOILA! You have multiple reviews! Posted August 10, 2015 (edited) What Laplace said! Posts and reviews being tantamount to hobby integrity: balderdash. Btw, I find the other Laplace's work quite useful, too. I have no bona fides here. For what it's worth, and it isn't worth much, I am retired from the hobby. I have done a great many reviews and my share of posting elsewhere. I usually don't have much that I care to say, and I don't especially like post whoring, internet repartee, or engaging with keyboard warriors. But this relates to safety, a matter of particular concern to me. Having for many years dealt with all manner of incidents in a prior life, and as a sponsor of one of the nation's largest boards, I thought it worthwhile to spout off. Let's get something straight. From time-to-time someone with many posts attacks another with comparatively few posts, or no reviews, suggesting that reviews and posts are indicative of one's credibility or that the absence thereof suggests that he could be a member of LE. This is at once nonsense and even hubris. All a post or review does is indicate an internet personality with, maybe, some (certainly inconclusive) indication of cognitive or explicative abilities, a sense of humor, or perhaps (a big perhaps) manners ... all under the cloak of anonymity. It gives zero indication of one's true character or safety. The number of posts, reviews, or one's internet presence hardly constitute evidence of not being a member of LE. LE is not as stupid as some think. Even acknowledgment by providers is not foolpoof (I know this for a fact). To offer one example, would one know the provider being reviewed is not a fiction or a member of LE? One obviously might not know. And some frequently reviewed providers would not even notice a fake review, as Laplace suggests. The only people who have some insight into another's most relevant attributes (as it pertains to the hobby) are those people who know one another personally, not from the internet. And dude-to-dude or group social behavior can be very different than bedroom behavior between the sexes, and it therefore must be somewhat discounted as criteria for judging hobby safety. The most credible experience in relation to the hobby is what occurs in the bedroom between (or among) the individuals there, and even that, especially when the exposure is limited, offers no guarantee. Years ago on the board I helped to start, which I might add incorporated a relatively sophisticated rating system, there was a well-regarded hobbyist (by other hobbyists!), with even several vouches of safety by providers. We assisted in having him caught and arrested for drugging, raping, and sadistically assaulting providers. So, bottom line, there is always risk. One seeks to minimize it through different kinds of information. But the dog that hunts best is: personal experience. A provider's best bet still remains another provider, notwithstanding the fact there is varying credibility and integrity there, too, as one smart lady named Nikki recently made abundantly clear on another thread. A hobbyist's internet personality is not veridical evidence of personal character. And a lady's intuition based on anonymous internet or voice communication, alone, is a very large gamble, no matter how skilled she imagines herself to be at assessing character. A hobbyist has less to go on beyond some physical descriptions, costs, and the reporting of acts (keeping in mind ymmv) from reviews. These are better than nothing, of course. But let's not overstate their utility. Overall ratings are simply not very credible, and they follow a highly skewed pattern rather than a Gaussian curve, as they should. Sorry, not everyone or even most are fantastic. Not to mention they often consist of boorish braggadocio memorializing a hobbyist's personal sexual prowess (I'd rather hear from the provider on this) and the de rigueur displays of obsequious behavior that one has come to expect. The average provider is not Angelina Jolie (or take your pick) and the average hobbyist is most likely even further removed from Brad Pitt (or take your pick) or he'd probably not be doing this. Exceptions to both, yes; many, absolutely not. What is more, so much is subjective that the various properties associated with a sexual experience are incommensurable among individuals, and not subject to comparative analysis. In other words, beyond a few stats, unless you know the reviewer's judgment well through empirical analysis (not how many he's done! But how many you have verified for yourself, personally, to assess compatible sensibilities). Finally, unless there is evidence of nefarious intent, a new poster should be welcomed, not told he's suspicious until he writes sufficient twaddle. Consider this my welcome. And requisite twaddle. Posted August 12, 2015 Thanks for the review of Jessica, Mr Racer. Welcome to the community. I have no idea what a "legit provider" is in your eyes. Could you please define? Basically since I'm new to this hobby, I'm not looking to "toftt" until I get my sea legs. The reviews are extremely helpful but many providers, as expected, don't stay in the area long so numerous reviews aren't helpful if the provider is gone. I know everyone has there good and bad nights but I guess overall I am looking for an fs provider whom consistently comes through. Finally, does anyone know which reviewers are trust worthy. I have found "fork" to be reliable especially since we have similar tastes from what I have read.
