Posted May 26, 2015 I noticed an ad on EB today from a provider I had seen three years ago and would like to see again. In fact, I have been keeping an eye out for her since I began participating in the hobby again but it looked like she had retired or relocated. I was pleasantly surprised to see her ad and ready to contact her and set something up and then I hesitated. I understand that it is not uncommon for a provider to leave the business and then return and this would be the likely scenario. However, while potentially less likely it occurred to me that it would also be very possible for Uncle Leo to just recycle information from a previous well established provider who left the business posing as that returning provider and some of us might flock to that like pigs to the slaughter. Am I paranoid? What would you do? Has anybody ever heard of Uncle Leo doing anything like this in the past? Thanks
Posted May 26, 2015 I would schedule without thinking twice. Pretty common to renew friendships in the hobby. With the short term memory around here and the constant turnover, the pool of clientele would be greatly reduced for LE to use that angle.
Posted May 26, 2015 Sounds like at least two options to me: 1. Call her and see if you can jog her memory about when you two last met, or 2. Wait until she has a few new reviews and put your mind at ease that she is the same lady. Good luck!
Posted May 26, 2015 It's pretty unlikely that LE would pay for a month of EB (the minimum) to advertise there. Even more unlikely that they would re-use a retired escort's name. They want to catch as many guys as they can, with as little cost, and effort, as possible. They're most likely using backpage (buy an ad for a day), and some young girls' pics. I have never heard of the scenario, you envisioned, happening on EB. I'd book her in a heartbeat.

Agree with all the above, but I would note there have been a few instances of scammer escorts trying to assume the identity of a retired and well-reviewed lady (although only ones i can think of were using BP). If she only uses the same pics from three years ago and different phone I would be a bit suspicious. New pics that are obviously her and/or same old phone number or e-mail .... full speed ahead.
Posted May 27, 2015 Am I paranoid? Yes. Call from a burner. If it's her, and she doesn't say anything weird, what's the issue? I don't understand the paranoia about making a phone call. Talking on the phone is legal in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Posted May 27, 2015 Thank you for your thoughts. You have eased my paranoia.

I have never heard of the scenario, you envisioned, happening on EB. I'd book her in a heartbeat. LE cares little about the monetary costs. There is a push from the U.S Attorneys office in denver to suppress human trafficking. . The uc increase in federal funding has enabled an increase sting operations in fort Collins and in COS. LE seize funds from busting johns to operate from. They buy cell phones, rent hotel rooms and buy lingere . Upon arrival, the uc detective ask the John what do you want me to wear? While she changes, the LE enters and apprehends the John. The u.c defective will always be wired with a recorder. The u.c. Will never post a true face picture on their ads. LE will never send a u.c. Detective to an out all call location - they can not control the situation and it is too dangerous for the u.c. For a misdemeanor bust.
Posted June 7, 2015 ... Upon arrival, the uc detective ask the John what do you want me to wear? ... The u.c defective ... How about a Freudian slip? There was a recent story about human trafficking in the nail salon industry. It was dropped by the next news cycle. Another about trafficking in overseas industry & farming. Also quickly dropped. It must not be good business to remind people that trafficking is more prevalent in their day-to-day lives & consumption; it's not just that sleazy sex industry. The old adage, "Sex sells." holds true in government funding too.
