Favorite dance step

Hello, What is your favorite step in dance?

A good waltz or two step.

In line dancing Elvira or Electric Slide, especially when done as face-to-face couples.

For me it is either Swing, Foxtrot or Chacha.  Many of the Chacha steps work great with some rock songs.

My wife's hot sister taught me the two step back in the 80's.  Sadly we lost her to cancer 20 some years ago.

Slow dancing like we did back in the 60's at basement parties when we were teenagers.

Hi! One of my favorite dance steps has to be the spin or pirouette. It’s such a dynamic move and can be so graceful or powerful, depending on the style of dance. There’s something magical about how it combines balance, control, and rhythm. Plus, when it's executed perfectly, it looks so smooth and effortless. What about you? Do you have a favorite dance move?

Dancing the Argentine Tango anywhere but in the US. 

Everywhere else in the world (that I've gone to, Europe, Latin America, Canada, etc.) they dance in close embrace. 

In the US, with our phobias and fears, we reject the partner when the dance starts by dancing in open embrace. 

Yes, close embrace is intimate (you can feel your partner breathing and their heartbeat), and it can be sexually charged, but there is no expectation that you're going to get a room at the end of the night. 

I've learned to enjoy the moment for what it is - two strangers in close physical contact hearing and responding in unison to the music.  No need for words - you let your embrace, your body,  and the steps communicate what you are hearing and feeling. 

It's not a young person's dance.
