Posted May 23, 2018 So anyone have favorite books that have good depictions of escorts? It doesn't have to be a book about escorts or anything, but one that has an escort in there that isn't written to the horrible popular stereotype. Most I've seen with positive portrayals seem to be scifi. Seems the future is bright! My favorite: https://www.amazon.com/Freehold-Book-Michael-Z-Williamson-ebook/dp/B00BEQLTZY It's free on Kindle so there's nothing stopping you from checking it out. The one girl in the story works as a professional escort full time, and the other tries it out. Both are heroes.
Posted May 23, 2018 My favorite book of all time is called Belle Cora by Phillip Marguilies. It's loosely based on the actual, famous, Gold Rush madam herself. The book portrays her as a tough woman to the point of being cold hearted at points but it's a genuinely great book. It focuses on escorts in the burgeoning beginnings of the American push towards the West. I highly recommend it to everyone!
Posted May 23, 2018 Uhhh, it's not exactly a book, but I always loved Miss Kitty on Gunsmoke - tough, smart lady that saved Matt's butt on several occasions. Technically, I guess, she was a madam, but my guess is that Matt and a few select regulars might have enjoyed time and companionship.
