Posted May 6, 2016 I love the photos used in the article, they represent in a fantastic way the variety of sex workers. This is a pretty momentous article with some big names featured. I hope everyone takes the time to read it.
Posted May 6, 2016 Short answer...not only no but HELL NO! As to the article. TLDR. NYT philosophy: why use one word when 10 will do.
Posted May 6, 2016 Excellent article. It's sad how many feminists declined to be interviewed. I admire most feminists, and I find it weird that many want women to be accepted, in every occupation, except sex work. Somehow that occupation has become equivalent to slavery, in their minds. It's very disturbing. If someone chooses an occupation, of their own free will, with no coercion, it should be respected, and supported.
Posted May 8, 2016 There are so many paradoxes in "feminism." I have not read the article, but most feminists (I think) would recoil in horror at the thought of women being used as a play thing for men, even though so many women know exactly what they are doing. Jane Fonda's character (a prostitute) in "Klute" was so self assured. It made me wonder: What does Jane Fonda (famous feminist) think of the profession?
