Exercise Regime

15 posts in this topic

You ladies probably stick to a certain exercise regime (or regimen) to stay fit and keep on top of your game (thanks).   Just curious as to what your regimen and schedule is?  Gents, I can't stop you chiming in, so proceed.  As for me, I do treadmill 3 times a week for 45 minutes and on alternate days, 45 minutes of push ups and free weights.  I can drop my heart BPM down to 60, enough to activate my life alert, and up to 165 BPM, again to activate the life alert.  Keeps those bozos alert, LOL.  ;)

I live to hike and run outdoors when the weather is 50 degrees or warmer.

I enjoy working out everyday, but if not every day, then no less than 4-5 times per week.

During the winter I walk/run on a treadmill at my gym. There I walk/run forwards, side-ways and backwards at various inclines and declines. I then work on arms a bit using my own body weight. Then I do a serious amount of 1 minute planks to counteract all the Chocoloate Pot de Creme, Creme Brulee and Chocolate Mousse I consume on a daily basis from Whole Foods lol.

Yes... not everything they have at Whole Foods is necessarily healthy for you lol. Some of their stuff is just for Fun. I love Fun! ;-)~

5 menthol cigarettes a day = cardio

I used to smoke. The smell never bothered me when it did.

But since I quit, I got my since of smell and taste buds back. Plus I gained weight when I quit. Cigarettes stink really bad and cause bad breath and make your hair and skin stink too. Not to mention cancer. When someone else smokes now i can't stand the smell.

My exercise regime consists of having gymnastic sex at least 5 times a week followed up by masturbating while paying attention to use both hands equally...wouldn't want to have one arm bigger than the other:D

I wish vigorous sex and masturbation counted as exercise, but I think the gym gurus say it is not....but I keep trying :)

I have found that at my age I need to limit injury risk and focus on high rep low impact workouts.  I start with a twelve ounce curl and then each rep after that is at least one ounce lighter.  I do 8 to 10 sets of this and at the end ofthe workout, I find that I feel much better and my stress levels are greaty reduced.

Yes.  Cigarettes are nasty and disgusting.    However, I have found that I am a raging bitch and a threat to my own safety without those 5 smokes so I have yet to fully kick the habit.  LOL

I don't smoke and dislike the odor, and avoid it if I can.  Yet, an ATF of many years ago was a heavy smoker.  She was polite about it, and I didn't rag her over it.  I went out with her and kept her company when our appointments were long enough to warrant smoke breaks.  She always brushed teeth or chewed gum or breath mints.  I never had a problem with her odor or taste, including DFK.

I think that if people just cut everyone a bit of slack, but also try to consider others feelings, the world is a better place.  Goes for smoking as much as anything else.

I train two to three hours per day. Sundays off. No need to worry about diet, I have to eat a ton to not lose weight.
