Posted July 23, 2014 I recently contacted a provider who offered Body Rubs. Nuru and prostate. I told her that I was not into the nuru or prostate, but just wanted a 60 min- 90minute FBSM. Her reply, What does FBSM mean. I'm sorry but that kinda freaks me out. Is that common? or should I stay away?
Posted July 23, 2014 * Sigh* Women can be so dumb when they want to be. Reminds me of an escort in Fort Collins that advertises as an escort and FBSM. I made an appointment. During the first few minutes of the visit, I asked to make sure she did FS. She said "what's that"? Turns out she was dumb as a box of rocks. What would I do in your situation? I'd shave and hope for the best.

Perhaps the alphabet soup we use is not so common knowledge, but Ink is right, if she is offering nuru/prostate, she should know the vernacular.

Thats like taking your car to a mechanic and he ask you, whats a piston? Wouldn't that kinda freak you out? Weird. I think I'll pass.

Without hearing further details about her, I would guess that nobody ever explained Full Body Sensual Massage to her. It's an escort industry term, not used anywhere else that I'm aware of. If she's new to this, she's probably never heard of it. Nuru and prostate massage are common in porn, and other sexual sites. I would guess, again, that more people have heard of them.
Posted July 23, 2014 Did she not get her handbook in the mail?? FBSM does not really indicate happy ending. It is assumed of course but it is not part of the acronym. Maybe she didn't really know, maybe the OP sounded like a cop during contact and she felt uncomfortable. I don't reply or respond to questions about services when asked explicitly or when acronyms are used, it just seems tacky. Maybe it was because she offers Nuru and prostate massage and the OP asked for something entirely differently that she possibly feigned ignorance. There are so many reasons and none of them would cause me to run to the hills.

There are so many reasons and none of them would cause me to run to the hills. As Luce says, there's a lot of different reasons for her to not know the acronym. Even if she actually just didn't know, I wouldn't go so far as to call her (or any provider who doesn't know them) dumb. Fact is that no one sends us a manual when we get into this, and you have to learn all of those on your own. If you even care to. I won't even respond to any emails that use acronyms or code words at all, ever.
