I’m also not sure you want to wag a finger at “tube sites” when the legality and issue here is with an actual, now defunct studio. 

   Obviously you haven't read everything,but yes, GirlsDoPorn was alleged to be in breach of contract...but I'll bet you,like I,never read those contracts.  The court ruling did state that all footage was to be removed from the internet so yes,the tube sites should remove them .The studio is not defunct,they still have their "Mom POV" series . As stated,so far,those on that site have not taken the producers and directors to court.

Although you pretend to know the industry, fact is, the studios have several different ongoing lines of product.

I don’t actually need to read the contracts. I don’t particularly care what was in them but what was there and what was discovered in court and what lead to a massive payout and the closure of GDP should not in any way be turned into “those damn tube sites” nor should the finger be pointed at the women that participated. In fact, to me, the only thing that should be said is here you have a shady studio that did some shitty things. Not even the mantra of never do anything on film or take photos because then again you’re putting the onus on the victims bs those ultimately responsible for doing said shitty thing.

Not so much blaming the victims, but ultimately one has to take some personal responsibility.  Making poor choices often leads to bad consequences.

Of course these girls were taken advantage of. That said whether amateur or pro there is only one way to make sure that your porn doesn't wind up on the internet for ever. Don't make porn.

That said,"Girls Do Porn " case is not a first and yes,girls should be aware of how doing anything on film or photos can backfire.  As for tube sites, give a real reason why they should be immune from court decisions.

That’s was a royal “you” not a “you, JR did shady things.” So not pointes directly at you. Sorry about the confusion on that one.
 

I’m not arguing those sites are above a court order. I’ve seen where they take content down if the owner complains. I don’t know how long that takes or how often it happens but I do know it does occur. So yes, if they are required to remove the content then they should do so. No argument there.

I think the issue is that the “victims” have to locate each and every site where they wish content removed.  There is no ‘erase this video from the Internet’ command.  So if their video has been distributed or scraped, they have a LOT of work ahead of them.  LE is not going to investigate and identify culprits for them.

Yeah it’s a never ending battle if one chooses. Having it removed and someone doing the legal legwork to ensure it gets removed is likely not going to happen. The internet is just too vast.

       Since the Meese Commision to the Max Hardcore distribution bust to today, LE wants adult entertainment shut down. If they think they have a way to do it..they will spend the money.Especially in a case like this.
