Sweet Hannah

feeling annoyed

15 posts in this topic

It is so annoying not knowing which hotels require a keycard to get to your floor on the elevator... or a keycard to enter the hotel from lobby. I wonder if it is just the location of the hotel or if it's the brand. I guess there is no way to learn or find out until it after it's too late.

Thanks for listening, that is all folks!

Couldn't you walk into the hotel (before checking in), head into the elevator, hit "5," and see what happens? If you find yourself on the 5th floor, you have a winner!

One of the characteristics of humans is our adaptabilty. Make lemons out of lemonade.

Meet your gent in the hotel bar, or the bar across the street, or even the parking garage. Tell him how much you like the hotel because it is so secure. As part of the total GFE, hang on his arm and gaze lovingly into his eyes as you escort him to your room.

You can't be a high volume line-em-up-and-knock-em-down provider this way, and you may have to schedule an extra 10 minutes a session to get him in and out, but what the heck.

You're a professional. Solve the problem. Professionally.

I've had incalls and outcalls in hotels with elevator keys. They've all been great.

Since many ladies book online, it's a little hard to know which hotels have card keys or not. But, if you still go to hotels and book at the front desk, maybe you still have an 8-track or Windows 95 and time for an update! :P

Hannah it's pretty common in larger cities that hotels operate this way. it's in the best interest of the hotel and a protective measure for their guests.

i now usually book rental properties to avoid hang ups like this. but i use to meet lady friends down in the lobby when there wasn't access to the floors. i would give a description of myself. and i would hang out working on my laptop in a cozy chair. i asked them to text or call once they were ready to walk in. this always worked out well for me.........

maybe you still have an 8-track . . .

You mean you don't? How else can I listen to "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers?!?!? Or "Kiss: Alive II"?

"our" part if you mean EOB is not taking new members to the best of my knowledge.

I did this at first and I wasn't going anywhere. took me 3 min probably to figure it out. You need to hold the card up to the black thing like some of the hotel door locks have and once it turns green, you press you floor number. Not needed for lobby and parking levels.

ASK them. Tell them you have a colleague who needs to meet with you later this night.

I tried this, was told to have friend go to front desk and ask for me or I can add them to my room and have a key ready for when they come.
