Posted April 24, 2015 So, last week I got multiple unsolicited texts from a number I didn't recognize. I was out with my friends and it pissed me off that this number kept sending me texts. I googled the number and it led to an ad for an escort I had never seen. I responded that I didn't know her, which led to me receiving pictures from the number along with a bizarre one-way conversation of some serious bat shit crazy drama that lasted about 3 hours. I thought it was bizarre at the time. This week, the wife of one of my friends received some texts and mostly voice recording files from a different number, again, associated with an escort, this time from Colorado Springs. The messages his wife received beat my text messages by a mile as far as bat shit crazy drama goes. Neither my friend nor his wife is associated at all with the hobby. Truly bizarre. Two different numbers, two different providers. Both with bat shit crazy drama with men they somehow think they are talking to, but are not really connecting to the right person? Another of our friends thinks it's some form of new advertising for escorts. I find that hard to believe; bat shit crazy drama from a provider is a big red light to me, not a green light. Posted April 24, 2015 Sounds like a case of wrong number to me. Perhaps the person they were trying to text had a similar cell phone number to yours, maybe one number off. I would recommend you delete and block the number if it happens again. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted April 25, 2015 this is why the higher end ladies never use to use Phones for initial booking/booking/listed on websites...phones and the ability to text/call/trace a number to an escort... has Never been a good thing. Sometimes not having something so "immediate" can be a safer and better choice. The throw-away, untraceable phones are a God-send. Immediate communication, which is so important in our hobby world ("I'm here", "running late cuz room not ready" or last Saturday's text 1 hour before the meeting time and after I had ready gotten address: "Got my period"). Seems to me the LE busts you read about are all the same: John answers ad placed by LE and shows up. That sure does seem to cover the overwhelming majority of the ones I've heard about. It shouldn't be hard to find a woman you are 100% sure isn't LE.
