For off...sorry for the long post. But just for conversation, how many of the ladies here fit these characteristics? Are these common traits of escorts and companions or are these traits the exception? Seeking opinions from the ladies and gents.

How to Identify a Female Narcissist

Physical Appearance

1. She dresses provocatively, flaunting sexually suggestive body parts.

2. She focuses attention on makeup and hair, even for the most mundane tasks or events.

3. She is overly confident about her looks. Research shows that narcissists are no more attractive than other people, but they believe they are much better looking than other women.

4. She places high value on brand names, and feels entitled to wear “the best.” She frequently purchases new clothing, and does not distinguish between wants and needs. (this is MORE than simply wanting to look nice)

5. She is more likely to have plastic surgery, most commonly breast augmentation.

6. She enjoys being photographed, and often asks others to snap her picture. She enthusiastically shares the best pics of herself on Facebook or other social media sites. She will sometimes invest in a professional photographer for a portrait that she uses on Facebook or for online dating.

Personality/Character

1. She insists on being the center of attention, and is often the most charming person in the room. Narcissists are very outgoing and excel at marketing themselves.

2. She often seeks favorable treatment, and automatic compliance. She believes that she is special, and that she deserves fame, fortune, success and happiness.

3. She is highly materialistic.

4. She is prone to envy, though she presents as supremely confident. She seeks opportunities to undermine others, and enjoys sharing confidences about how the two of you are better than others.

5. She is convinced that others are envious and jealous of her, and often uses this excuse for her lack of real, intimate friendships. When her friends enjoy successes of their own, she finds ways to punish them by downplaying their achievements.

6. She lacks empathy, and even common courtesy at times. She puts others down, including you. She does not hesitate to exploit others.

7. She is very competitive.

8. She believes that she is intellectually superior to her peers.

9. She blames others for problems. Narcissists don’t believe that they make mistakes, and lack the ability to process shame.

10. She displays a haughty attitude when she lets her guard down or is confronted. She will act impatient, arrogant and condescending. She will often excuse her own shortcomings by claiming that others are pressuring her or expecting too much of her.

11. She is dishonest and often lies to get what she wants. She will never admit this.

12. She is “psycho:” She engages in risky behaviors, has an addictive personality, and is prone to aggressive behavior when rejected. (Note: This is most common with Histrionic Personality Disorder.)

13. She is unpredictable in her moods and actions. You have trouble figuring out what she wants and where you stand.

14. She is capable of short-term regret, and will apologize profusely if backed into a corner. However, she will quickly rationalize her behavior and return to narcissistic patterns.

If you think about it, a person who is really awesome and really confident is kind to others. I've known lots of huge guys from gyms and they're always so sweet. It's skinny and short guys who are assholes and violent.

Anyway, I can only think of a handful of women I've met who feel good about the way they look and behave. So, I'm sure lots of "bitchy" female behavior is because you're dealing with a woman who hates herself.

Personality has nothing to do with body shape, size, height, etc, or how someone dresses. Personality disorders are identified by behavior. You should know that, if you are the expert you keep claiming yo be.

I've only met a handful of the ladies. The ladies that I have met have held confidence (does not equate to Narcissism). The ladies I have met, have been very non-nonchalant in regards to their appearance; often wearing no make-up and sweats. The ladies I have met have been very compassionate in that they love, nuture and rescue animals. I know a lady who volunteers working with the homeless on a regular basis. I'm sure you get the picture.

Is there a reason why you associated escorts and narcissists though?

So, if you know women who got into prostitution to make "men pay for it" then they likely have little issue with you, another woman. The classic psych profile of a prostitute is a woman who has gone cold to men, has little emotional ties to men, and wants to make herself immune to sex by repeatedly having sex with men, while using them for money. They're basically frigid and that's why they can simulate affection.

I'm not saying that's ALL prostitutes but it is some. Those kind of women hate men and the aggression comes out through acting like a "diva" or whatever term you like. That would be what the OP is taking about and such a person is a predator type.

Wow, as a business analyst myself, I would be interested in seeing this data. Moreover, I would be interested in seeing who the subjects were (were they ladies like me, had pimps, sw's), and when the study took place. Was it last year or 25 years ago? I am not disputing that this data exists. I am doubtful that the studies were "escorts" like me, who run their business similar to me, who choose this profession. It just sounds ludicrous to me. So sad... I love men. I love filling their void, or just having a great time. I am definitely not "cold to men", nor frigid. lol How could you do this if you hate men? Wouldn't it come across?

So, when I go to get my car fixed, the mechanic quotes me a price, fixes my car, I pay, I used him??? WTF? I would say we had a professional exchange, and I was provided a service.
