Posted October 2, 2013 Furlough in government terms is the same as being laid off and that anyone on furlough will be lucky to get a dime for the time they are on furlough.... Come from a family with a long history of serving and then working for this country.. To the OP sorry that this has happened to you as well as the countless others around the world... Those fuckers won't give you anything back. I use to work for the government and we had frequent furlough days. not only would I not get paid but since I work in IT I would often end up working on the furlough day and not get paid for the work I did.
