another new-be needs advice

9 posts in this topic

I know you get this question a lot.. patience.. I have watched the board for a long time and have decided to "jump in". So how does a new B start. I respect the need for Ladies as well as guys to be safe. All of the ads ask for multiple references or p411. Any recommendations on ladies that are good with married new-bee's. :)

My my. You are a glutton for punishment. As I write this, TOB veterans are scouring the Internet for face-palm images.

If you are looking for FBSM, you usually don't need any references. You can certainly walk into any AMP and get everything from HJ to FS.

Then again, you are probably looking for FS outside of the AMP realm.

If you have been monitoring the board for a long tim e tgen you have seen many posts on this subject. Just make a list and start calling, you'll get an appointment, it may not be your first choice but it's a start.

And have patience. The fillies are a might skittish right now.

Be polite. Answer questions as much as you feel comfortable doing so. 95% of YOUR burning questions can be answered by doing your homework. The other 5% can be asked in person......if the answer doesn't become immediately obvious to you.

How long have you really been watching this board?

Long enough to know that your question won't elicit any more information than has already been discussed in the last 2 weeks?

[snip]

Long enough to know that first-time posters are viewed suspiciously?

Long enough to know that there have been multiple threads in the last few weeks about how to get started?

+1.

Many ladies I've met never even asked for a reference early on and if they feel comfortable with your vibe.........it's on like Donkey Kong :D.

Many providers will even state newbie friendly in their ads too and then you can build from there. Happy Hobbying.....and may the force be with you.

Here's what I did (not saying it's the best way to go, but it worked out for me):

I started out seeing mostly girls from BP. Body rubs require almost nothing in the way of references and that's where I began. I always wrote a review. Eventually, I saw some escorts from BP but only after at least one other person reviewed them on the review boards (and only if that reviewer has a decent history of reviews). Generally, that means checking BP fairly regularly and cross-referencing phone numbers or names with the review board. Continue to write reviews yourself.

Then, when and if you decide you want to move on from BP, look for a girl on EB that doesn't require a P411. She may be satisfied if you give her your review handle and if she can message you in some way using the associated email (you did create a hobby-only email, right?) or if your main TOB handle is the same (as it is in my case). Some people are averse to giving out their handle but I found no reason to care.

Once you've seen a couple of EB girls at least a couple times each, they'll likely be willing to vouch for you with other EB girls that require references.

On the lighter side, since the darker side will inevitably come out in response to your question, the first step in jumping in is to learn how to spell "newbie".

I'm laughing, but ezduzit has a point. You need to learn how to spell newbie before you can become one.
