I was there a few years back. I think like any club, some may be hobby-open, but many are not. It was okay...some live peep show booths and private dancing. Mainly, they would get you worked up with an up close and personal dildo show and then keep asking for another $20 every few minutes to keep going. Better off spending the money on a GFE with someone in the area. Just sayin'

When I was going to grad school in the Bay Area, I frequently visited the North Beach area. Never got any puzzy in any of the strip joints there, just whole lot of nothing.

Walk down Market Street and hit a few of the AMPs. If you're lucky, you'll stumble over an attendant who isn't 50 years old.

Or if you just quickly wanna jack off, visit the Lusty Lady Theater write across from the strip joints in North Beach. (whatever is left of them).

*waxing nostalgic*

It's literally been years(20+), but if its still there, I doubt much has changed. To echo the previous replies: lots of "lookie", zero nookie. It is(was) worth a visit, if for no other reason, than its kinda historic(or at least Jim/Artie(?) Mitchell were). For a long time they had a really cool undersea mural on the side of the building, but definitely be careful wandering around the Tenderloin...

I have to agree with the other guys. Save your money. It used to be outstanding when the actual Mitchell Bros ran the place but no more.

I was there about 15 years ago. How time flies. I think it's worth visiting if you're curious and just to say you've been there, etc. I'm not well-traveled as far as strip clubs go but I thought it was pretty unique.

I got a private dance in a curtained booth and was offered a HJ. I declined. Obviously, I don't know what it's currently like.

I grew up in San Francisco and for a time my family rented an apartment across the street from The Lusty Lady.

I never had the need for a night light because my bedroom was constantly aglow and boogieman free due to the blinking red neon nipples on the lit up signage out front.

Fond memories. ;)

I just checked google street view. The porn shop across is still there, lol. If you walk back up Kearny Street, towards Broadway, there used to be an AMP right on the corner of Kearny and Broadway.
