It's back up for me.

Yuck...this happened to me last month too. I wouldn't have even known, but a client in NYC happened to see the backpage ad and immediately emailed me to ask if I'd moved. The girl stole my pictures, name etc. and even had the audacity to put up a link in her ad to MY reviews on TER. When I contacted her to politely ask that she stop using my info, she was extremely rude and insisted that the pics were hers etc. The gall of some of these people amazes me to no end. It happens from time to time and sadly, there's not a whole lot that can be done about it. =(

The gentleman, if he truly IS a gentleman, should compensate travel & expenses. Sadly, many men do not value us as ladies and they know that if they screw us over, there will be plenty of other providers that are willing to see them. It sucks, but I would've given the same advice. While you can't force them to compensate, you can ask, and your friend really should. Something similar happened to me way back when I was new. I asked for compensation. I didn't get it, so I threatened to write a review on pbuzz & blacklist, and when he failed to respond I did just that! It's pretty much all we CAN do.

I know that I don't participate here much anymore, but I just couldn't resist this thread. While I agree with Destiny on this one, I'd also like to add a few to her list; Poor hygiene. Please don't expect to kiss me if you have foul breath. Please don't expect me to spend a lot of time in the nether region if your balls smell like sour milk. I am always clean and fresh for you, please show me the same courtesy. =) Detailed reviewers. While I understand that there are some guys who get a kick out of posting raunchy, vivid reviews, I personally do not appreciate them & here's why; I am not a robot. The experience you have with me is tailored specifically to YOU. What I'm willing to do with you, may not necessarily be something that I'm willing to do with 100% of my clients. There are a few reasons for this, the main being chemistry, but others include poor hygiene or bad attitude. I do not give incentives for reviews, but I do ask anyone who reviews me to give a fair & honest assessment of the time we shared. Did I show up on time? Did I look as hot as I do in my pictures, did the experience surpass your expectations? As far as I'm concerned, that's all anyone else really needs to know. Last, but not least...Rescuers. Often times I encounter people who would like to "get to know me outside of the hobby" and "take me out on a real date." While I do appreciate this sentiment, it's never going to happen. I'm not a kitten stuck in a tree, I truly enjoy what I do and I don't need to be rescued. When this boundary is crossed, the first thought that comes to mind is that someone wants to get the goods for free. The nature of this business is that it is a business! We get together, have an awesome time, you go your way & I go mine. While I do have many regular clients that I absolutely adore and respect, I am not using my profession as a means to find a long-term, commited relationship. Sorry.
