The “HH vs HR” thread seems to have gone off the rails, so I decided to start a new topic for longer sessions. For a long time, I would only book one hour sessions, but now I hardly ever do. A few years ago, I started booking 90 minute or 2 hour dates, and I found I enjoy those much more. With only one hour, I couldn’t relax, and I’d always worry about running out of time. Nowadays, if I’m seeing someone who will have a drink with me, I’ll book two hours. Spending some time sharing a drink and conversing at the beginning of the date, really makes a big difference in how the rest of the date goes. If I’m seeing someone who doesn’t drink, or if I myself don’t feel like drinking, then I’ll only book 90 minutes.

Now that sounds like a great way to spend an evening with someone 😁

Whatever niche you can think of, there are providers and clients for it. So yeah, there are high roller clients, who are willing and able to book with super exclusive providers. And such providers frequently place ads for many cities to generate interest. Any client who really wants to see them and can afford it, won't hesitate to pay for their airfare & hotel, in addition to booking an extended date.

I've been active in this hobby for a long time and have written a lot of reviews. I try to avoid the obvious cliches, but it gets hard not to repeat myself, even when my experience with someone was amazing/fantastic/incredible (see my Private Delights reviews, and you'll see those words again and again). The more I like a provider I've seen, then the more I worry that I'm shortchanging her by reusing the same superlatives. But maybe I'm just being neurotic.

There's nothing wrong with being outspoken. I actually appreciate it when providers say what they like and what they don't like. But at the same time, if someone repeatedly says things that make me not want to hang out with them, then I know I shouldn't see them.

I’ve lost interest in a fair number of providers due to things they said on Twitter. Sometimes it’s because they tweeted or retweeted something I found offensive. But more often, it’s because they present themselves in a way that makes me think I wouldn’t enjoy my time with them.

P411 is kinda pricy for us clients, and every year I consider not renewing, but I always do. Almost all the providers I decide to see have p411 profiles, and it's been my most consistent, useful resource over the past five and half years.

It’s not uncommon for ladies to offer overnight or weekend dates, but week long trips together are super rare. Even if you are taking her on her dream vacation, she can’t book any other dates while she’s with you, so most providers will want to be compensated appropriately. And I agree with Hunter. Spending that much time with someone is not easy. What if you get bored with each other after a day or two? Ugh, what a nightmare.

One thing I will never understand is people who put Ring video doorbells on their homes. It’s not a secret that Ring sends the video feed to the police, they advertise that as a major feature. Are people so afraid that they feel the need to put their homes under police surveillance?

It’s all good folks. I could have posed the topic better, and I did come off a bit humble-braggy, while over-emphasizing the drinks part. And I agree that 90 min is the sweet spot for most dates. I guess a better way to have explained it would by that I prefer two hours when I want some semblance of a civvy date.

Ha, this topic didn’t quite go the way I intended. I just wanted to see what reasons folks had for preferring longer dates. Before writing this topic, I hadn’t really thought of why I sometimes book 90min, and why I sometimes book longer, and it occurred to me that having drinks was the most common difference between the two. But I don’t always have drinks during a 2 hour date. If it’s a summer afternoon, we might eat ice cream in bed between rounds one and two.

I avoid asking about rates. I’ll check her website as well as her ads and online profiles (slixa, tryst, p411, and private delights) to figure it out. I don’t want to bother anyone if she’s outside my budget. I don’t waste my time with providers who don’t state their rates online, and will only tell you after you’ve contacted them. If you have to ask, you can’t afford it.

Exactly. It's not that complicated. Just go slow the first few times, and you get the hang of it.
