Posted August 2, 2017 Hey Bella. My guess is you know by now whether or not you love the work, despite the risks. I think the thread advice re minimizing risk (i.e., self-defense training, concealed carry w/ plenty of range practice, or carrying some other implement) is good. Krav Maga is probably your best bet re self-defense. A provider once shared with me that when she first started out, her boundaries weren't great, that is, she thought on some level that she wasn't 'supposed' to have limits according to what she felt comfortable with. Don't know if that's you, but I'd say definitely *own your boundaries*. Finally, your intuition/instincts. Need I say, 'Listen to them'? 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
