It is very simple to avoid these stings. Due to man power, scheduling, and safety issues, LE only does these stings just one day, and just for a couple hours. Solution, make an appointment for one day. Then immediately cancel and reschedule for the next day. If the other insists it has to be a certain single day at a certain time, watch out.

Regarding the hotel ratting you out, unless you or the provider are stupid enough to confess, all they can do is throw you out. Sometimes the plain clothes cop will pretend to be another hobbyiest to encourage you to say something incriminating. Or they'll pretend to be the pimp. General rule, if some stranger starts talking to you, get the hell out. And if you think you are being followed, just go to the wrong floor (or building or whatever,) and see if they follow you.

What you just stated is quite the opposite of what occurred.

I believe you, JR, but it's kind of mind boggling that you would be harassed for going into a room with a woman who was dressed ultra provocatively. Especially when it's Vegas and there is an adult video convention going on, and it's not against the law to enter a room with a hot woman. And the irony is that a REAL ASP would likely be dressed way down to avoid attracting attention. That's just an amazing story, not incredible, but amazing.

When I first started covering the adult video conventions for the Oyster, there were porn shoots going on at every hotel as well as partys. Eventually,Vegas vice got tired of it and started shutting these down to the point no one shoots in Vegas anymore during the conventions. They are keeping a carefull watch on the porn stars that they don't do extra activities,which is obviously what they thought was going on in my room. Yes,your average provider doesn't dress flashy..but the girls do dress up flashy on the convention floor .
