I think you have every right to ask the clients, and they have every right to answer or not answer your questions. My job is to protect myself and that is through screening, and then making sure that you know what to expect when meeting me. I know others do it differently which is why I am explaining my veiwpoint. My thinking is it is my job to provide the service so it is my job to make sure the clients know what to expect. I have done the flip too. Threw a pillow, and it caught on fire. Haven't used candles since. Had two dudes with the same name and the exact same phone number with just one number different call and see me on the same day...got confused why he was coming back, and then realized the blunder. They also sounded about the same. Had housekeepers walk in, knock, or the front desk call while in session. Had to evacuate a hotel in mid session when fire alarm went off. Went to dinner with a client, and got food poisoning which ended the fun activities we were going to have as I was in the bathroom for the remainder of the night. Had a client get his car towed and found out when he was leaving so helped him get a ride to get his car. xoxo, Samantha Sheppard

I had a provider ask me the other day to vouch for her on a verification site, and I have never met nor have I ever heard from her. This alarms me greatly! First, don't expect us seasoned ladies to vouch for you when we know nothing about your credibility, or that you are legit. These places were designed with our safety in mind, and while I know that you need it as much as we do... you will have to work hard to get on those just sites just like we did. Other ladies, don't vouch for someone you have personally never met nor don't know about their credibility. This could cost you if it comes back to bite. I want to help as much as anyone else, but I regard those safety features to protect me first and foremost, and if people are doing this...it makes those sites credibility less for me and for all of us. How can I believe what is on there if they just allow just anyone on there with that loose of screening? Keep this in mind. Remember to be vigilant, and don't be using your reputation to help someone just because you want to be nice. We can still help, but this is not a smart way to do that. Get reviews ladies, and get to know other ladies in this profession to gain the credibility you desire. We do want to help when it is for the right thing. xoxo, Samantha Sheppard

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture or the pangs of starvation, you are ahead of 20 million people around the world. If you attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death, you are more blessed than almost three billion people in the world. If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful, you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not. If you can read this message, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read anything at all. You are so blessed in ways you may never even know. Today, as I was "paying it forward" to countless people and my family which ended up being a beautiful and reflective day...one pivotal moment was when my grandmother handed me this poem and I read it. This stood out to me. I have been reading for days countless posts of negative things about FOSTA/SESTA, about the changes, no reviews, lack of websites, having to screen, working harder, lack of money, stand-ups, etc. I was unwittingly joining in the cesspool, and with one poem I got clarity. It is all about perspective. Why are we griping when we still have access to a luxury that women make decent money at(we still make more than someone making minimum wage), and men get to live their fantasy at a fee that hasn't really changed? This is a 1st world problem that we are creating! We still go out to restaurants and eat food that other countries don't even know exist nor will ever experience, we live in spacious homes that allow us to buy friviolties that a majority of countries will never see nor enjoy, and we have money in a bank that some countries do trading to survive. We don't have to worry about our next meal, if we have a home, how to protect it from our enemies, diseases that kill that we have basically eradicated, and so much more. Yet, we think we need more. We live off our credit cards, go to the mall for the next fashion piece, have an ice cream when we want, watch movies and splurge big money to hoard on popcorn and booze, dance all night at clubs, drop $100's on concert for our favorite band, and buy a car that is worth the same as a house should cost. We are not appreciative of what we work for because we don't know what it is really like to suffer. Now don't get me wrong, some of us ladies have been in dire situations and have turned it around and kudos to those ladies that have turned their lives into something more, but let's not forget that we were there once and where we have come because of this. Some guys may have had scenarios too, but honestly if you don't have the funds, you don't see us ladies. After all, that is why this is a HOBBY. The only thing that has changed is that we have to quit being lazy and actually read, advertise, listen, and work this in a manner that fits for you. Our business is, at the moment, not about the NOW but WHEN. If you are not feeling this business anymore, that is on YOU, and the only way to change that is your perspective. You don't want to work to see a lady then you get what you invest your time in. Same for the ladies, you want the work...you will have to "work it". If not ladies, then get a job. If not guys, then you need to work it with someone else in your life. This isn't going to change unless we change it, and negativity isn't going to do that. Look around you and see what you have that people only dream of achieving, possessing, earning. We are SO blessed that we have a community that looks out for each other, helps each other financially, physically, emotionally. Instead of complaining, work with what you have and be grateful that us ladies are still here and that we still do what we do. We need to be grateful that the guys are still providing us the comfort which we have become accustomed to so that we aren't homeless, starving, and without our worldly possessions. Shift your mentality to what can I do to be better as a person so that I can be of use to someone in need, and you will reap the benefits in ways you can't imagine. Clients, us ladies are still here, still advertising with our hard earned money, still emailing, screening, answering phones, still opening that door, still shopping for that favorite color of lace you requested, still on our knees, and we aren't going to back down just like we haven't for thousands of years. We are chameleons and will change with the wind wherever it leads us. Providers, keep in contact with your favorites, answer the phone, be consistent, get dressed up, screen, and know that if you build it...they will come. The clients aren't gone, they just are reflecting on their own situation too. If this means that you need to take time off, spend time with family, go on a vacation, get a job, lose a job, go through a relationship change, drink a coffee...then this is the reflection you need to change to be better and to remind yourself how truly blessed you are, that you will be okay if you believe in yourself, and work hard at achieving what you are looking for. Rise above the stigmas and hate with positive mindset so that we can show others that nothing will stop us and we will not back down against the ignorance directed towards us about a profession that the elite and few truly understand and enjoy. It is only fear, lack of understanding, and their certain set of morals that make them feel this way...remember that. xoxo, Samantha Sheppard

I was just thinking the same thing. Cops call, but don't get through my screening, Working just fine for me. Oh, and I do talk on the phone to my clients once they have been verified so we are on the same page. You have to go into the Google account through voice and make it not go through your phone (you set up your personal phone in those setting when you got the number) for it to not text or call through even if you took the app off. Xoxo, Samantha Sheppard

Adriana, it looks like you are in a bit of some murky water right now. My suggestion would be to get some NEW photos from someone on this board that is accounted for( PM if you want some reputable names)and can vouch you are the person in that photo. This shows you ARE, in fact, the said woman in photos, and watermark them so they aren't catfished from other providers. This is your business...bad/fake photos, not being consistent, dishonesty, etc. does affect how well you do. Protect it just like you would protect your home. xoxo, Samantha Sheppard

From my perspective, I haven't gotten anything on switter, but I am still trying to figure it out. I do get stuff from twitter, but it is hit and miss. I do know of other ladies that are far more successful on twitter, but they have been working it for awhile(unlike me), and they have a lot more followers. Persistence is key to success. My problem is I have had on one hand new clients that have seen me since the changes, and it is because they contact me asking to see me, but won't fill out my screening form to get verified. I know by the way they talk that they aren't new to this, and that they have seen me around so I don't buy that they are too scared to give me their information...they just want it to be easy and they are being lazy. This is one of my biggest pet peeves, I HATE laziness! I am not stupid. I will not fall for the pleas to "I don't know what to do", to "I don't feel safe", to "I'm a great guy"...just give me what I ask so I feel safe and know that you are a client I would want to see and enjoy, and come have an awesome time. This is typically what us reputable ladies only want. My other issue I have seen is regulars ghosting on us. It literally takes seconds to say," I can't make it", or something else to that effect so we can schedule with someone else. I had 7 cancellations last week, and I know that stuff happens, but if I had known about the cancellations...I could have fit someone else into those time slots. Instead, other clients lost out and it cost me. Us ladies understand that you have lives(we do too), but take in consideration that it does affect our schedules and others so make sure that it isn't going to overlap or conflict with something else you have going on. The sucky part is I am now charging a cancellation fee because of this. I keep having to remember this is a business, and that other places would charge you if you don't cancel in a timely manner...sad that it has to come to that this day in age. Us ladies haven't changed how we are treating you guys. We are just being tighter on screening to protect ourselves, and you so that we can all still have fun. I know that not having "penthouse letters" is a downer, and that we have to watch our P's & Q's, but we did this same thing not even 5 years ago, then the business exploded and we enjoyed the "accessibility" of this business, and now it is back to square one until things change again. I advertise on EROS and love it because it is classy. They do verify the ladies and make it known that they are the girl in the pic, and they can be cheaper in some cities than other sites. Yes, I get dumb clients that contact me on there, but I get as much or more from TOB too. The Dumbo's frequent every board that exists. Also, more than half of the ladies on there are real not fake. Just do your homework, follow protocols, and be a good client. Just keep in mind that with everything changing, people change too so be smart and know what you are walking into.
