Food halls are becoming very popular here. Meet up a bunch of friends. Order a bunch of different foods. Like a mall food court without the mall. So rino area is a good place to start. Denver central market. The source. Stanley Marketplace. Avanti. zeppelin station is a new one. All have different food options and bars. If there’s a particular food you’re looking for let me/us know. Ramen? Korean? Italian? Overpriced? Underpriced? Tons of options.

This topic is interesting to me because I have been feeling the same way and didn’t realize it. I am on this site multiple times a day. But the draw is gone somehow. I will go through pages of listing and Nothing. I don’t know what’s changed. Well except my pocketbook. Even if I had more funds for this hobby, something changed for me. Not enough to throw in the towel. I guess I’m trying to chase a particular experience and haven’t been able to recreate it yet?

I have had a provider lower their donation amount for me. That was one of the nicest gestures I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It made me feel incredible. It boosted my confidence and ego in every aspect of my life. It changed me forever.

I was hobbying too frequent and too fast for a bit there and now I’m broke. And my atf is gone for a few months. Which is good cause I’m broke. And I’ve been really busy with work. Which hopefully will help with the aforementioned brokenness.

Asking for acronyms considered a safe idea in a pm? From client to client? It’s not explicitly out there for anyone to read. I guess you still might have to screen the client before you give even that info out a bit.

From a client side. The ads are a bit redic. Lots of new ones. Fake ones popping up. It’s just easier to stick to past providers for now until the dust settles. And wait til new rules and etiquette are in place that everyone is comfortable with using. It used to be not okay to discuss donations but now they aren’t as easily found and accessible yet. So you have to ask. That sorta thing.

I just want to say I’ve joined this hobby about a month ago and what a perfect time to do so. I saw the old system. Understood how it worked. And now that these new changes are here it’s interesting to see how it will evolve. Reviews were very important to me as a newbie. It helped me be more selective. I have even reached out to members to ask specific questions. So while it was nice to have I didn’t have it for too long. This new format isn’t going to deter me much. Just have to adapt I guess.

The 1 hour thing is so misleading. One hour to meet sure. But before that there is preparation involved and afterwards as well. And the time to respond to emails and text and request. That takes a lot of time as well. Just like I can make an appointment with a provider. But I have to drive there and back. So it’s not just an hour of my time either. Dealing with traffic and all that. Coming from a restaurant background Time is money. Sure I can make cupcakes that cost pennies in ingredients but I need to account for the time to hire a person, bake, decorate, advertise, hire someone to sell, rent, electricity. Time isn’t the only cost cause it took 20 mins to bake.

Oh really? It was more of a curious user interface thing really. I guess I can just ask a provider next time I see one. Or if someone wants to pm me an answer. Or I can become a provider and find out myself but I don’t think I would get many clients. Too much facial hair.

Since it’s kinda the same topic I have a question. I see clients reviewing providers and we can discuss provider experiences via pm. When I share my references to new providers, are old providers giving reviews of me too? “Nice guy, has a weird thing for hello kitty. No B.O.” or is it more like he’s not LE. Or he has references and that’s enough. Is it more a convo on the client or not so much. Just curious.
