    RIP Mike Pinder

Classic and with Mike Pinder gone, there are no more original band members.  But with Justin and Lodge, they still sounded great.  Thanks for the memories.

  2. A huge loss to rock and especially Southern Rock.  I remember being transfixed by "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" the first time I heard it (Live at Fillmore East). I can only imagine what Dicky and Duane would have sounded like if they were together for more years.

  3. No advice to offer but so sorry this happened.  It's a shame that some folks forget this is supposed to be about mutually respectful fun between consenting adults.  And I wish the ass-hats wouldn't ruin our hobby, especially with threatening actions and behaviors.  Wishing you lots of safety and sending good thoughts your way.

Memorable music for damn sure...........................First song I learned to play on piano was Lean On Me....................

"Lean on Me" is the only Bill Withers song we do.  It is always a favorite with the audience.  A blast to perform and the lyrics touch many folks in a good way.

I’ve used the kit made by Meguiar's. As mentioned, it was a 2 step process, but worked well. Good luck

I also used the Meguiar's kit and it worked great.  It took some time but well worth it.

So, interesting case study. Unfortunately I broke my foot this morning. Dog toys on stairs in the dark is not a good combination. I have an appointment with a yl for early next week. I'm going to reach out to her shortly about my injury. Not 100% sure if I want to cancel yet or not, but want to give her a heads up. More than 48 hours out. Will I need a doctor's note? I know this lady well and don't expect an issue. But does present an interesting situation. What if this happened morning of?

Sorry to hear about your broken ankle and hope your recovery goes well.  When the cast comes off, the real work starts (physical therapy).  I went through that many years ago and did my suggested PT about 90% of the time and it fully healed.  It just took more time to get strength and flexibility back than I expected.  Take good care of yourself and hope you will be able to make your fun encounter.  It may do wonders for your "recovery".  😉

  7. So sorry for the loss of your friend.  It sucks to lose someone we care about.  I went to a memorial service for a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago.  He was loved by many and some of us are still grieving.  Take good care of yourself and let yourself grieve fully.

  8. I've always enjoyed hour long visits.  Having some time to get to know one another and not feeling rushed are important to me.  Different strokes for different folks but for me this is more than "insert part A into slot B".

  9. I'm not snowed in but am staying in for the day.  We have under a foot where I am located, but this seems like a perfect day to stay in, drink coffee, watch TV, read a bit and nap.
