Posted March 11, 2016 I hope this isn't a surprise to you. The people in L.E. (be it N S A, F B I, or local) believe they are protecting the good people, from the bad people. It's their vocation (and often avocation). They believe they are the good guys (and most of us are bad guys). The majority of people in the US strongly support them. They are going to use every possible option to stop criminal activity, whether you believe it should be criminal, or not. It's a big reason to support the Bill of Rights, vote, and be discreet. I know that the NSA has been reading my gmail messages, which contain messages to known escorts. However, prostitution is not their radar. It is on the radar of local law enforcement, which will now, for the first time, have access to all that data.
