Posted May 6, 2015 Is this old news or the elephant in the room? It seems to be getting harder to hobby, and more expensive, and now this. Kind of makes me want to spend my money in other ways, like corvettes and rolex's. http://www.denverpost.com/circare/html/gsa_template.jsp?sortBy=mngi&similarTo=&similarType=find&type=any&aff=3&view=entiresitesppublished&query=prostitution&searchbutton=Go

Posted May 7, 2015 Yes...it is old news, so do not play into it. Sorry-this issue is my hot button, and not in that way Birdie
Posted May 7, 2015 I love their math skills - as usual. One estimate in October showed about 10,000 men seeking sex through online ads in Denver in one night. "I think the potential market is even larger," said Z**a C*****r, executive director of the Boston-based Demand Abolition, which organized funding for the project. Let me see. Assume 250 active ladies on any given night, that would be 40 clients per night each. OUCH!! Side thought, the name "Demand Abolition" - kind of speaks for itself.
Posted May 7, 2015 I can believe the 10K number if you take all the hits on all the ads on BP and treat each hit as an individual "seeling sex". This factors in the looky-loos & those using the ads for soft-core porn. They probably threw in the Dating section too.
Posted May 7, 2015 Yes, the usual numerical and logical fallacies. Conflating 'clicked on' with 'seeking sex' is a big one. I strongly suspect they didn’t even control for multiple clicks from the same computer.
Posted May 7, 2015 Yes, the usual numerical and logical fallacies. Conflating 'clicked on' with 'seeking sex' is a big one. I strongly suspect they didn?t even control for multiple clicks from the same computer. Suggests the need for a new measurement tool--CPF (clicks per fuck). Like CTR, only for escort boards. A high average CPF rate means your platform is under-performing (too many free riders, not enough "buyers"). Guaranteed that P411's average CPF rate is lower than BP's.
Posted May 8, 2015 From the Article: "Cranmer said Denver was chosen to be a pilot city because of its "political will," openness and willingness to share information with other jurisdictions." (My underline) They obviously didn't dig too deep into the Mayors history. Can you say "Hypocrite" To quote Sgt. Esterhaus on "Hill Street Blues".
