They're rich, sinister, east coast assholes.

Since I moved to CO I haven't noticed that kind of vindictive streak in people. And, I see less violence, so there's some kind of major cultural differences at work.

the 'cultural difference' as you put it is probably because out here in the wild west EVERYBODY used to carry guns, so folks was jest a mite more polite to one another, and i think that sensibility has carried over.
