Help! I'm lost..

8 posts in this topic

Hey, I'm a provider from the Midwest. It's my first time here and haven't figured out the best area to stay or where to post successfully... :-(

What am I doing wrong? Lol

What am I doing wrong?

We don't know, because you have not provided us with any useful information about your situation.

Are you a novice provider, or a veteran pro? Are you 21, or 70? What ethnic group do you identify with? Do you have restrictive policies or preferences about the ethnic groups of your clientele? What kind of client experience do you think of as your forte? What has your experience been as a provider in your home region? How long are you staying? Where have you tried to post so far? What kinds of results have you gotten, and what about those results is not satisfying to you? Do you have a website? Do you have reviews up anywhere? Do you advertise in the paid ad forums? Do you ask your clients for referrals and reviews? Did you do any groundwork before coming to Colorado? Do you have any local friends, co-workers, associates, regulars? Do you have a car? Do you drive it yourself? Are you open to providing a wide range of "whatever the customer desires"-type services, or do you have a short menu that doesn't change for anyone? Where do you position yourself on the value-luxury spectrum? What are your expectations of a good working day/week/month? Do you like to build personal, off-the-job friendships with your clientele, or keep everything strictly business? When your working day winds down, do you hit the bars with a train of admirers in tow, or retreat to the hot tub at your hotel? Do you have a hotel, an apartment, a house, a back alley somewhere? Do you do outcalls and incalls, outcalls only, incalls only?

That's the first 1 or 2 percent of what someone needs to know to give you meaningful advice about tailoring yourself to the local market. Without us knowing that kind of information about you, what answer do you think anyone can give? (The secret: ads posted on Backpage on the EVEN-NUMBERED lines between midnight and one AM always get 500,000 responses. No other ads are ever even read. Shhh, don't tell anyone!)

This reads a little snarky/jerky now that I look back on it; that isn't the intention. Right now, you're the gal walking into Amazon.com and saying "I like products. What products are right for me?" You gotta lay out where you're coming from first.

Stay around DTC area (i-25/225 area south to Arapahoe). Around here, word of mouth is the best advertisement, as cliche' as that may sound. Do good by others, others will do well by you. Best of luck

Most of this information if posted on the forum would violate the rules about advertising.

What do you mean when you say you're doing something wrong? What's not happening for you that you wish would? Not enough biz?

When I look for providers I go to P411 first. I check out the ad board as well as browse the profiles. If I like what I see, I come here to catch some reviews. You can also try escortphotos.net. I only schedule appointments with providers through P411. Others may do it differently, but what I do works for me.

Thanks for the reply!! Lol. [snip] I suppose I should update my profile to answer some of the questions. [snip] Adding some pictures on here would be a start I suppose. Lol. I'm not big into the boards but I'm glad I reached out. The help has been amazing and I truly appreciate you taking the time for me babe!! :-) :-) :-)

I haven't gotten much response which is unusual for me... So I got a bout curious about the ways of the area. Lol. It's my first time here and I love the city. Would luv to stay awhile. I just gotta give it time. The strip clubs are ok at least! :-)
