Posted May 8, 2012 Another great loss for the arts. What an amazing author and illustrator.
Posted May 8, 2012 Looks like I will be having a reading of "Where the Wild Things Are" while "The Last Waltz" is playing the background. Participants are welcome to email me.
Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) Oh no!!! I have so many memories of his illustrations... In honor, a hot girl in a Max costume: http://favim.com/orig/201106/15/costume-girl-max-model-where-the-wild-things-are-Favim.com-77178.jpg and for all our cunning little vixens, a sexy fox: I have it on audio book, read by Liam Neeson... I think that's going to be the soundtrack of my day... Edited May 8, 2012 by Mace changed embedded pic to link
Posted May 8, 2012 This is such a sad loss. I have already pulled Where The Wild Things Are, In The Night Kitchen and Dear Milli of the shelves. Listened to Carol Kings renditions of the Nutshell Collection. Everyone has their time but I had my fingers crossed that he might be immortal.
