I'll be the third one to say Mt. Princeton. Love that place.

I had the pleasure of taking my niece to breakfast this morning! I wasn't a part of her life due to living too far away early in her life, which sucked. I now have the pleasure of her living closer and being able to be a part of her life. Means more to me than anyone can imagine. Outside of that, I was able to wash my fleet today, and even had the time to treat the leather in my truck. Yes, I'm a simple person.

I can't believe people would act in such a way... There is no possible excuse for person to treat you like that Lucy. It bothers me that anyone would speak / text a provider in such an insulting way, regardless the situation, but ESPECIALLY to a provider... It amazes me on a daily basis (I work in retail) how many people lack even general respect (common courtesy) in dealing with people they meet in service industries, whether its the gas station, a server in a restaurant, or the young person bagging groceries. I can't imagine dealing with b.s. that providers have to go thru on a daily basis, that's insane... Someone should design a bullsh!t filter app for smart phones...

Also keep in mind, some ads are automatically posted, so there could be outside factors regarding why you haven't heard from the provider. It could quite possibly have absolutely nothing to do with you.

I am as new as it gets as well, and I just want to say thanks for the forum in general! Forums are only as good as the folks that support it, and I for one appreciate all you input BadBoy, as well as that from everyone that have helped contribute, both hobbiests, and especially providers. I have moderated different car forums over the years, and a frequent response I always give new comers is "USE THE SEARCH".... "Its located here, ....". Every forum I've been on has a search function and they all have they're quirks, just takes getting used too. I'm doing my best to utilize the search function myself, but once again, still learning. A newbie forum section or "sticky" would be fantastic, but I have to agree, they are always under utilized. No matter whether or not a newbie section is started, thank you to everyone that tries to be helpful, I for one appreciate it.

I just wanted to say thank you, I'm new as well. I'm glad this forum is here because I'm trying to understand as much as possible about the hobby before taking up a providers time. Honestly, its a lot to take in... The one thing that has surprised me is all the discussion about screening. Coming from a background of knowing absolutely nothing, I have no issue with a provider wanting to screen me and know exactly who they are about to meet. I can't imagine the risks that many providers are exposed to and anything to help fully provide them with safety and security I'm all for it. My only concern is, my time in the "hobby" will be extremely limited due to the fact that I live in a very rural part of Colorado, the odds of me being able to visit a provider is very limited... Looks like I'll be a newbie for a very long time.

Its always been Monarch for me, when I could actually go. Great Mountain and at least its still "reasonable" for pricing!
