I was not a no show. I was texted for a last-minute appointment late at night and I let him know that I was at another appointment but I could text him when I was done if he wanted and on my way back home. He chose to start driving over to my place without getting the go ahead from me and when he let me know he was in the area I reiterated that I wasn’t there and that I had told him I would text him when I was on my way. I thought I was pretty clear that I could meet him, but it would be when my appointment was done and I would let him know. He let me know that he had misunderstood and we decided to meet another day. As for the time of the month thing our conversation leading up to that took a turn that freaked me out, and that was my polite way of ending the appointment because I was very uncomfortable with the conversation and didn’t want to upset him by asking him to leave because I wasn’t sure how he would react. I’m not going to share the details of the conversation here because I don’t think that’s appropriate.
