Posted July 2, 2016 Gay Talese learns the subject of his new book is a liar, disavows the book I would have thought an author would have known to do a little fact checking but I think Talese wanted a juicy story. I also wonder if it isn't a little in part due to the backlash he got from publishing the excerpt.
