Posted October 21, 2014 Here's a fun one. Ads that look to be for legitimate massage, but that still use FAKE pictures. For example, this: http://denver.backpage.com/TherapeuticMassage/compassionatein-call-structural-integrative-massage/16395126 Is Nicole Kidman http://www.wallpapers-photos.net/nicole-kidman-2014-photos-hd/ And this: http://denver.backpage.com/TherapeuticMassage/compassionatein-call-structural-integrative-massage/16490336 is Klara Zakopalova (tennis player) http://www.listal.com/klara-zakopalova/pictures//3 http://www.fansshare.com/gallery/photos/11088540/klara-zakopalova-klara-zakopalova/?displaying Several other examples on BP as well.
Posted October 22, 2014 Just seems like legitimate massage is a category where posting your actual photos shouldn't matter. No LE risk. No "friends and family" reputational risk--because there is no real social stigma associated with providing therapeutic massage. So, the "real" reason for posting fakes is you want to mislead your would-be customers. Or, you are not as "legit" as you want people to think you are, and therefore LE/stigma risk is actually there, somewhat. IMHO, of course. Also, fakes don't matter to me all that much. If they are in the ballpark of the actual person. I just find it funny when legit providers use them. Smacks of vanity.
