  1. How do you read reviews and get provider stats?

True, I just lucked into it. When in doubt, click around. ;-)
  2. How do you read reviews and get provider stats?

Click on one of the L or S numbers. The review content will appear.
  3. Recommendation of good restaurants downtown Denver !

There are many over-priced options in LoDo, most of which have fine food, just not worth the cost in my opinion. Some of my favorite, good-valued places include: Cholon Asian Bistro, Bistro Vendome, Prima Restoranti, Limelight Supper Club (DCPA plaza), La Grande Bistro & Oyster Bar, Tamayo, Vesta Dipping Grill, Squeaky Bean, and Panzano. Bon Apetit.
  4. I prefer the old way -- NO ADVERTISING in the main body of the board. Allow minimal advertising in the profile. Providers could provide links to their website in their profile. They can advertise fully on their own website. I don't really want to have to skip over the visual clutter provided by these ads in EVERY post. On this board let the content and nature of your posts be your advertising. I'm not real keen on any signature that takes up more than a 2-3 lines of normal text.
  5. What to do about Reviews....

Assuming that a forum-based review board would look like just another board on TOB, then it might make certain aspects of 'research' more challenging. For example, one quick easy bit of research of high value to many hobbyists includes: skimming the summary of provider reviews and doing a qualitative averaging of their rankings pulling up all the reviews for a given reviewer to assess their own track record relative to reviewing (i.e., one-review-wonder? or a reviewer who shares my tastes and proclivities) Unless reviewers are rigorous about how they write their reviews in the forum-based system I would think it might be difficult to quickly and easily make these sorts of assessments with a simply forum-based system.
