  1. Discrimination

Hey 2Big, you leave me alone! I'm not fat; I just have not grown into my body yet!
  2. What Kind Of Scam Is This?

I'm agreeing with Missing Link on this one. I think, a few years back, there was some kind of internet scam where people were told to call (or call back) a certain (foreign) telephone number..and the number was set up to where it would like charge your phone fifty bucks or something like that each time you called the number....I think it was based in some countries in the Caribbean or something like that.... but from what I know about Whatsapp, it's supposed to be for free..or maybe that's just the texting part....
  3. Bit, that ALONE was worth the price of admission!
  4. 1. I've learned what it is like to get hit by a lightning bolt. It happened to me hobbying in Oklahoma in 1997, and it happened hobbying here in 2005. Those are memories that NEVER leave you. 2. I've learned that these gals are all individuals....none one like the other. Sounds simplistic, but it's something I've learned. 3. I've learned (again) that I enjoy helping people as a lawyer. A number of both the ASP's and hobbyist's have reached out to me over the years. and although I got absolutely zero compensation, I had a good feeling when I hung up the phone after having pointed someone in the right direction. 4. And I've learned that great memories well outlive the money you spent to make them. My sister-in-law has said to me (several times) "You can't take it with you"- and she's right- but you can have the memory of a fantastic afternoon or evening for the rest of your life.
  5. New Girl Saying Hi

Sarah, welcome to Colorado...and if you've never been screwed by a Lawyer, let me know.
  6. what would you do ?

NNG, you have my sympathies, for what they are worth. Back in November of 2013, a close relative of mine lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer. I echo the words of those who have told you to "get your affairs in order". While I do not practice in the Wills and Probate areas of law, if you email me your cell number and a good time to call you, I'd be happy to talk to you if you need any assistance or referrals in that area. My EMAIL is: NicholasNUtah@hotmail.com - needless to say, no charge/cost whatsoever for the time I spend on this.
  7. Best BJ

Agree with Pfunk. This is not brain surgery, folks.
  8. Pathetic and sad is your value judgment. I'm not saying it's incorrect. But it's the "verdict" that your "jury" has brought in. I think 2Big's point has merit as well. ESPECIALLY his point about "not getting your honey where you get your money." And if that awkward and nerdy guy does not have a problem advertising that is a pro...well, why should anyone else have a problem? I'd be happy that the guy is getting his world rocked and making a memory he'll have for a LONG time. (Hell...I can remember some of the women I've seen from here with CRYSTAL clarity). Furthermore, there's only a certain level of satisfaction you get from reading those bank and brokerage statements. Once you've got 200K in that IRA, another 50/100K isn't going to make you feel any happier. On the other hand, having your world rocked by either an Escort or Sugarbabe in return for the appropriate gesture for her time and companionship....now, that DOES make you feel happier.
  9. Stop being so damn negative!

I think she has a very good point. I've been here (off and on) for YEARS now. Sometimes it does seem that a lot of ranters and haters post here....and/or hijack threads. Granted, sometimes, you have intelligent discussion, but it seems that too many other times....well, I look at this way: At the risk of insulting everyone's intelligence, this IS the Internet. Pretty much everyone on here is posting under a screen name, and while some of us may know others in their "real lives" off the Board, I'm guessing that the vast majority of us will never meet in person, aside from the obvious ASP-Hobbyist Connection. What that means in terms of posting is that (almost) anyone here is able to post whatever they want, and I think a number of posters have the attitude, that "Well, if people don't like what I'm writing/posting, that THEIR problem!" And really...what is anyone going to do about that? Respond in kind? That does not exactly elevate the quality of discussion around here. And yes, I do think it's possible to have "quality discussion" on an ASP-Hobbyist Board. FWIW......
  10. curious about location

Agree with most of what has already been posted. That's why I like seeing folks in the DTC. I've never, ever had a concern about that area. Most of the hotels there are at least 2.5-star (well, a couple of two-stars) but the area itself is safe, and it's not someplace I would worry about having my car stolen.
  11. Location information disparity

I frankly doubt that many escorts would go for something like what the original poster has suggested. Whenever I have had a girl come over- and I've hobbied in several states- I always gave the agency/the girl my exact street address. That way, they weren't driving around aimlessly, or they didn't have to worry about any sort of safety issues. And I never had any issues or problems as a result. Remember, for them, (I think) it's a safety and caution issue. I remember chatting with one gal- who went to do an outcall at someone's house. She gets there a few minutes early, parks down the street, and walks to the house- and before she knocks on thee door, she looks in the (side) windows. The guy has absolutely no furniture in any of the first floor rooms. No couch, no chairs, nothing. But throughout the first floor is this red carpet. And then she looks into through the kitchen window. Same story. Nothing in the kitchen. But she did notice that the door (presumably to the basement) was padlocked. She told me she went back to her car, called the guy, said she was having car trouble, and would not be able to make it that night.
  12. CS Busts

Well, at the risk of stating the obvious, stings are a good reason to see only well-known established providers with a track record. Yes, that means it might be hard for someone new to the business to get business, but hey...until this activity become either legal or decriminalized, we are all at some sort of risk.
  13. If you won the lottery?

I really dislike lotteries. I feel they are a tax (primarily) on the poor. I'm pretty sure I would keep working. I might dial it back a bit, but I'm almost positive I would keep working. And I might be a tad more active as a hobbyist.
  14. Has Belle Blooms resurfaced?

Melissa, your words were very kind. Thank you.
  15. Has Belle Blooms resurfaced?

<Blushing> Thank you, Nikki...that was VERY kind of you.
