I'm curious since you know so much about the situation and have proof that will back up what you're saying. How did she get back on the board? Did someone vouch for her? If so, why would they vouch for someone who had this kind of history? There must be more to the story that you've left out. Do you know the full story or are you repeating what someone else wants you to repeat?

I get as much business on TOB with a regular ad vs regular plus feature ad. When I lost my feature ad spot, I didn't lose any business that I could tell, but I'm a regular poster on the forums. Maybe for providers that don't post on the forums regularly, or at all, the feature helps promote their business more. A refund for those 2 weeks you didn't get would have been better. Then you could have decided where you wanted to spend your advertising dollars. You should get what you pay for.

My personal formation was taken when they were hacked several years ago. I haven't used them since.

Members post all the time about scam sites here. Are you worried it's self promotion or something? Maybe the mods can chime in on this one. Twitter is notorious for this. I have a lot friends that get their pics stolen and new accts created with them. Usually we can get them shut down pretty quickly by reporting them. Maybe you can get it taken care of faster that way. If everyone reports it.

I'm so sorry Marilyn. Trust no one when it comes to your money. Clients can be the nicest people in the world, but business is business. I had that problem twice before. Both times I made them go to the ATM, and one appt I took the time off the session, the other time, I increased the rate for my troubles. It messed with the chemistry and flow of the session both times, so it definitely was not worth the bs to the clients. Going forward, you can also request digital payments be made before the appt. At least enough time ahead that if there is an issue, they can hit the ATM on the way over, so there is no excuse on his part. This guy knew what he was doing though. You don't derserve that crap. A lot of providers when they retire they don't look back, so unless someone knows her IRL, and knows her RL contact info, and talked to her, she wouldn't necessarily know what's going on. I do know phone numbers can be spoofed because several local providers were targeted a couple years ago. I was totally surprised to learn what someone can do with your number. The spoofer was texting from the providers phone number. They had access to their contacts too. It was all really bizarre and meant to cause chaos, not to steal, but it was fucked up none the less. So it can happen. I don't know about the email thing or website thing, so I can't speak to what's really going on. It's a horrible situation regardless, and I'm glad the community is looking out for each by staying informed.
