The auctions are not really car shows .... they are car sales. SEMA does have cars but not considered a shoe SEMA stands for Specialty Equipment Manufacturers. It is a place where companies that manufacturer aftermarket components for auto enthusiasts (hobbyists) gather to see what's new. Not coincidentally that event gives many the opportunity to participate in other hobbies as well.

It would help IF you could tell us what you are looking for. A concourse show is FAR different from a show for muscle cars, and hot rods vs old Mercedes, Rolls Royces, and older European classics. ONE is VERY "correct and stiff" and the others are pretty laid back and relaxed. BOTH will have stunning vehicles.

For me, hanging around in a strange place is not wise. IMHO nothing attracts attention like someone sitting in a car for no apparent reason. It is equally ill-advised to "circle" around waiting for a reply. IF I do not get a reply in 5 - 10 minuets I text a good bye message and leave.

I don't think a waiver is what is in place .... I THINK that our L.E. cannot or will not apply for a warrant outside of this country, AT LEAST not for low level felonies or misdemeanors.

How would you "vet" the gents???? Kinda like pre=screening? A course on behavior for BOTH sides of this endeavor could be a great idea. IF the gents were vetted (pre-screened) It would be more like P411??? A course on punctuality would be a good idea too.

I see what you are referring to (I think). There are a couple pics where there appears to be a heavier application of make-up amd possibly different shades or colors. That and different lighting could be what you are seeing. JMO

After a second look, the crop of the photos is awkward and the composition leaves much to be desired. PERHAPS the crop/composition was an attempted to obscure something else in the photo?

The pictures look ok to me, The background of the studio pictures have a very busy background. Not certain that I would have chosen a garage exterior backdrop for photo shoot, but I don't know what the photog was thinking or what the lady asked for.
