    2003 was fun. Kids got a couple of days off school and had fun building snow forts. Everybody on my street helped each other shovel out. Bring it on! I am a weird Winter guy who even likes to shovel snow. We need the moisture

    I completely agree with you. Maybe two positive reviews and whatever other screening without provider vouches to get provider membership?

She even knew two ladies here on TOB that once lived or do live in Portland that tried to vouch for her. She got the stiff arm from TOB and was denied. She didn't have the outcome as the Vegas lady. And chooses to be in cities where there is an opportunity for locals to be aware of her touring. 

    I just had a text from a lady from Texas I had exchanged PMS with on P411. She has TOB profile with a positive review, as well as a website and positive reviews on other sites, but still has to get a provider reference and before she can post a listing.

    Sorry I was misunderstood. I was not advocating that providers should be able to sign up without any type of admission requirements so TOB would become another STG. What I do think is new providers should be welcomed and if new providers are not being accepted new clients also shouldn't be. If it is not, a client review should carry equal weight as a provider reference. Have always thought there should be some nominal sign up fee for clients.

    I find myself pretty worried for people who work in Dining. I also hope they're all okay... I haven't been going out for safety reasons, but when I do pick anything up I've made sure I'm tipping extra well. Also this year for Christmas I think I'll try to support more local businesses for gifts! Even though Amazon is tempting with the speedy fast delivery. I saw an article that said they've doubled their net profit during the pandemic, meanwhile a lot of small businesses are fighting to stay afloat. 

    Not to mention how this may be affecting us all in the hobby!

    I definitely agree with you about Amazon. I've never liked and only rarely order from them. They pressure manufacturers to lower prices which drive down wages and encourages outsourcing of manufacturing outside the U.S. None of us like to pay taxes of anykind but, especially in these times, they need sales tax to provide services. Shop and buy local!
