I let her know about 10 minutes before our scheduled time that I was almost there, and she replied that she was running late and to "give me a second", which of course I didn't have a problem with. I originally assumed she meant only 10 or 15 minutes or so, but after not hearing anything for a while I sent her a text to check in, but she didn't respond. After a couple tries (texts and emails) she finally responded - 1 hour and 20 minutes after we were supposed to have met. Her email said that she couldn't meet right now, but could do later that night or tomorrow. I could have understood the delay/cancellation, emergencies happen, but she told me her reason for cancelling and it wasn't something that prevented her from responding sooner. And since she had a private incall and not a hotel there wasn't even a lobby for me to sit in - so I had to spend all that time walking up and down the street (with my luggage) trying to be inconspicuous. I would say it was a let down as before the session started she was totally rude to me on the phone strike 1.
