The Dawg

This kids issue does go way beyond not having a girlfriend and not having sex. It's much deeper than that. It amazes me how the media will find a segment related to sex in anything and emphasize that issue alone. I would wager there is a lot more to that video shown and the lengthy manifesto the kid wrote than just getting not getting laid and being a virgin at the age of 22. The sad fact is there seems to be a lot of disturbed people out there who feel that they need to go out and indiscriminatly kill as many people as they can because somehow in their minds they feel the whole world has mistreated them.

Ill chime in on this one. In my humble opinion, at least from my perspective at least I get the better end of the deal. Let's face it, if a young lady is willing to spend some time with me, pamper me and give me something I would otherwise have to do without then I most definitely walk away getting the better end of the deal. Let's face it, being much older than the ladies I choose to see all of them over the past year or so,unfortunatly hasn't been that often, have gone out of thier way to treat me well.

If you google this question, you will find quite a bit of information. In the US it seems to stem from the womens temperance movement having it's primary begining in 1789 regarding the production and sale of ferminted beverages. As the movement progressed into the mid 1800's and later on it took on a new meaning regarding womens rights and the right for every adult to vote regardless of thier gender. Prostitution became an issue in the early 1900's and was mostly outlawed in much of the US. Then as now many people consider prostitution to be and exploitation of women and contributes to " back street violence and slavery". They estimate that about 1% of women in the US have worked or working as prostitutes and the claim is that the majority are forced into it. The estimate of men visiting escorts in the US appears to be around 18%. If these statistics are correct, then one can gather that close to 20% of the population engages in this activity on one side or another. This means we have a very small percentage of people visiting escorts in most parts of the United States. Given these statistics, the legalization of prostitution seems to be fairly far away. If a politician were to come out either liberal or conservitive in favor of legalization it would be his or her end unless the constituents in thier perspective district were clients or escorts. Maybe some district representative in the DTC area may want to take up the charge or Thornton/Westminster, just kidding.
