English sailors of the HMS Dolphin 1766 discovered that native women near Thaiti were eager to trade sex for iron. Sailors began pulling nails from the ship to trade with, this resulted in the ship becoming structurally unsound. I thought of the boys on the Dolphin as I was turning scrap wire in preparation of an upcoming date. Happy hobbing and try not to cripple too many job sites by being eager to collect scrap copper.

Travel schedules usually allow me an unencumbered hobbing opportunity, so my tradition for the last few years has been to knock someone off of my to do list. It's my all-time favorite tradition.
