I've really liked Venmo in the past because I prefer long sessions that usually go over my daily atm limits and bank is closed on the weekends. I understand why ladies would be skeptical though, so I don't bring it up until we know each other. However, I had a recent experience that will make me never use it again and wanted to warn you all. My payment was flagged for review by Venmo so the recipient couldn't access the money even though it is fully gone from my account. That wouldn't be too bad if the review took a few days, but they say it can take up to 6 months for their review. We've both tried calling and emailing customer service, but they say they can't give any details whatsoever and we just have to wait 6 months. I paid the companion again using a different method so she wouldn't have to worry about it, but now I'm out almost xxxxx for having to paying twice.
