Another great one has left us.

I watched him in the Godfather and Days of Thunder the past 2 weeks and 7 Days in Utopia (probably one of his least known roles).

He was great in everything he did.

One of my favorite movies is Second Hand Lions with Duval and Michael Caine

“The Great Santini”. Damn……that movie reflected my younger years growing up with a Marine Corps father flying the F-4. Sort of had PTSD watching that movie as Duval absolutely nailed the role. I think my ultimate rebellion to dad was flying in the Air Force instead of the Marines.

So  sorry to hear of his passing.  I didn't realize his age...he just always seemed to be ageless in his roles.  I think the first movie I saw him in was "THX1138", an early George Lucas film.  From what I've read, he was very well respected as an actor and very well liked as a person.  RIP
