Salt and Ice Weight Loss Trick

16 posts in this topic

Do not mix ice and salt. The salt changes the ice’s melting point and it essentially gives you frostbite.

The only way to lose body fat is through a calorie deficit; consume less calories than you burn.

The easiest fat loss method is starvation, this is because you’re completely cutting out calorie consumption, but you always use calories just by being alive. This comes with the downside that it’s an eating disorder, the same as most “fad diets” you MIGHT see instant results, in which you continue to do X diet, giving you an eating disorder.

Exercise is paired with a diet because the more muscle a person has, the more metabolically active they are, in turn burning more calories, speeding up weight loss.

For only weight loss, you can chop off an arm or a leg, it’s just weight. This is why you don’t want to use only weight as a metric to health, it doesn’t show the full picture

We are also consuming fake food (not just fast food). Too many people on our planet to sustain everyone. What is  even sadder is our pets are developing human health ailments due to the fact their food is also processed. I could say more but nobody cares enough to hear it from me.

I definitely don't want to dance with a touch of frostbite. Thanks for the info, I have been seeing this particular weight loss diet popping up a lot.

Hmmm, has someone told you that they don't care to hear what you have to say on this subject before? I mean, that is exactly what THE FORUM should be used for. I personally would rather listen to you versus listening/dealing with the other BS (cliques/favoritism/jealousy/envy)...............

The Salt And Ice Weight Loss Trick—Fact Or Fiction? | Fastholic

Water only fasting works great. Done it several times. It’s cheap too. Trust me, if you have fat to lose, it works. If you have serious medical problems, I don’t recommend it. But if you don’t well, give it a try.

With a water fast, you can put salt into the water. A water fast, or any fast, works because you’re constantly consuming. You’re tricking yourself into believing you’ve eaten by filling your stomach with water yet you’ve gotten no calories.

But only water and you’ll drop your electrolytes. If your electrolytes drop too low you’ll get muscle cramps, headaches, seizures… so that’s where salt is useful. Or even a low calorie snack like a banana, you’ll consume sugars to use as immediate energy and potassium to upkeep electrolytes

If you have insulin resistance, doctors will tell you you’re 40 pounds overweight, I’d say 30 pounds. And since we’re not eating real food, everything is processed. Using the stuff that comes out of the ground, even if you grow it, is still processed. There is insufficient ground for naturally increasing fruits, vegetables, and wheat. I think this all came out when Ronald Reagan was president. He stated that ketchup was a vegetable. And truly, the tomato is a fruit, but that’s not the point. I think everything just went downhill as far as the food chain. If you’ve been around as long as I have, trying to take a bite of natural, whole-grain bread to me, it tastes almost like cake, though the consistency of the bread is soft. I remember that during the 70s and 80s, a slice of whole grain bread was dehydrated and dense. Nothing like the bread today that's squishy has fewer grains in it. So, back to insulin resistance, please note that people who try to diet lose a ton of weight and then gain it all back, plus some more. It’s not their fault. It’s because the food is so horrible that we’re eating, I think the FDA approves of us eating Many more chemicals than they do in Europe and other parts of the world. So, an alternative to all this, and possibly you guys are against it, I am sure. Weight loss is not about self-control. It’s all due to this disease that we’re struggling with insulin resistance, diabetes two, and the same, and the only alternative we have, and my daughter did this Ozempic and Mojarro, which come in pill form and injectables, are all sorts of generic names for these drugs I mentioned. They’re highly effective for those who need them, like my daughter. Please do your research and check it out for yourself; there’s no reason why anybody has to believe me, but if you seriously suffer from insulin resistance, I suggest that you talk to your doctor about getting on these weekly shots or pills. I think the pills are daily, and the shots are weekly? My daughter’s A1c needs to come down. Now she looks like a supermodel on top of having a healthier body. You know, so many factors also play into obesity, and it’s not their fault. It’s not our fault that we’re obese. We’re just eating this crummy food, so next time you drive down the road and see a large person, don’t yell at him to go on a diet. It’s not their fault. Our food is making us crave more food. Take everything into consideration.
Well, I think that’s about all I can add.

Thanks for your input. As I sit here reading, I am also waiting on this provider to hit me up and invite me over to her place. What's your daughter's A1C if you don't mind me asking?

It is a 4 before she was an 8. Those injectables are saving people’s lives .
Have any of you experienced body sculpting? I’m thinking about doing that myself.

Real food is great. WFPB is really good. On GLP-1 stuff, unless you seriously change you diet you will be on it forever. And there is a limit on how much weight you will lose. With water only fasting you will reduce your insulin resistance which is the whole problem to weight gain. If your insulin never comes down to a low level for maybe 18 hours to start, you keep jamming fat into you cells each time you eat. Lowering your resistance so your insulin doesn't go up and stay up, is the key. As humans we are programmed to eat and eat and eat. Unless you drop your insulin level.

GB this is some good advice. This is the kind of advice that needs to be heard before we have to hear from THE DOCTOR...................

resets your  metabolic rate. Which  definitely helps  with insulin resistance. @gb0138 thank for the new food pyramid. I didn’t know that there was a new one made. I should have!
