Posted January 8 The pop voice of the flower power hippy movement. From the start in '63 singing about wanting love, peace and getting along together. Seemed like we were making progress till lately. RIP Peter. But then have to admit Puff was my favorite.

Bob Dylan wrote so many incredible songs that a lot of famous musicians performed, including Bob Dylan himself. ❤️I hope to see the movie this weekend about Bob Dylan..
Posted January 8 (edited) The group was very soulful and Mary Traverse is so beautiful. Is this topic alone now because of concern so sappy but I’m really love that group. Edited January 8 by Kali Sensual Reiki

Posted January 8 RIP, indeed! This was ‘my music’ growing up. I still play a lot of the tunes they helped make famous. Posted January 8 Sad to hear of Peter's death. Peter, Paul and Mary helped put Bob Dylan on the map. I hadn't realized Peter was still alive, though I remember Mary's death. Another musician's death that reminds me that so many from my youth have passed. We're all getting older or as Pink Floyd says in "Time"..."Shorter of breath and one day closer to death."

I will definitely go look up and visit Hanalei Beach. It’s a nice beach for surfing. The lagoon at Poipu is great for snorkeling. If you are a film buff, Donovan’s Reef was filmed on the island.
Posted January 16 When my oldest son was a young boy his aunt gave him a portable 8 track.player and one cartridge - Peter, Paul and Mary. That cartridge got played until it fell apart. When PP&M came to Fiddler's Green a few years later that was his first concert.
