Restaurant

I’m not sure this is the right place. I’m coming back to town and would love winter time best restaurants or must do events while visiting during the holiday season

What part of town and any preference on type of food?   The Cherry Creek North neighborhood has a wide variety of restaurants to choose from.

Near downtown at 10th & Osage is the Buckhorn Exchange. Oldest restaurant in Colorado.

Great Italian at Gaetano’s on 38th & Tejon (this place was the hangout for the Denver mafia when they were active) and the embrace their history.

Also Bruno’s Italian Bistro at 575 S. Broadway.

Both are near downtown.

Lots of other good locally owned places in the metro area…depends what your in the mood for.

The Buckhorn Exchange is one of my favorites. Always took customers there when they came into town. I know people like The Fort (which is about 10 mins from my house) but I’d rather make the 35 min drive to the Buckhorn.

Dang, I haven't been to Simms in ages.  Thanks for the reminder.

Those two places are just my fav of  west Denver 💋 they are the only two places out my way that  are consistently good for fine dining. I made a  laundry list of places I like out my way,  on TOB a while back and those  two are probably my personal tops, (service, food, atmosphere).

Try The Fort in Morrison.

They are similar to the Buckhorn as they both cater to game meats.
They are both great places!
