Dead, they aren’t always truthful anyway, only reason is to see them is to see if  the ladies are legit or not and that’s it,

By legit, I take it you mean they're not a bot or LE in which case, absolutely right. And not just that, but they're another, if not the best way for the latter to know what we're up to.

As Stevie and IDoP state, I also look at the reviews to confirm if the lady is legit.   But I also. Take into consideration who wrote the review and if it seems like they are trying to write for Penthouse Forum.     
 

I think most people are hesitant to write a bad review, either out of fear of being attacked or not wanting to hurt someone’s feelings.   There have been reviews that I have read where I am left wondering if the poster couldn’t smell the smoke and cat urine ammonia that sent me running right out of the door when I visited the same person. But that can always be chocked up to personal preference.

When I remember to write reviews, I save them for the above average, to exceptional experiences I’ve had. Just my personal preference.

When I am considering seeing a companion that is new to me             ( doesn't happen very often anymore) I use reviews as a guideline, and just one of my decision making data points. I look for a reasonable volume of reviews that give consistently positive feedback. I don't use them to find specific menu items, recognizing that YMMV. I also write reviews, unless she specifically requests that I not and I think I might see her again.

I know that some ladies read the reviews that guys have written as part of their screening. A lady I'd seen recently mentioned something I'd written recently in a review. It lead to a great conversation. I also read the reviews of ladies I'm considering seeing. I'm still a supporter of review culture.

I've gotten to the point that reviews only seem to matter if their are more than one on a provider. One hit wanders mean nothing these days. And, if a provider is no longer active, why is the review still relevant. Reviews are supposed benefit the provider, RIGHT!!! To help clients, make a informed decision of who too see. Not used as some sort of  "ego booster" for the poster.

Lets be honest here for two seconds. If you've written 50+ reviews, and, never written a negative review, and' 70% are one hit wonders, or, unclaimed. Your useless to me. Because, I feel  you'er not being honest. And, now when you write something on here, It"s just background noise. Your posts become annoying and insignificant.

I like reviews, although when I leave this business, you can go ahead and delete them. Maybe it’s a bit of an ego boost if you have nothing but great reviews. I have new recent ones on a website that seems more graphic, and you must pay to read the body of the review. I also have received reviews from a scrape-off website. Please don’t bother me asking about these reviews. You may read and find them for yourself if you are curious. It's not very important, just interesting to read. And yes, I needed to ask those Clients who wrote on the pay website to cut and paste a copy of what was said about me. You see not  even the lady they wrote about can view the review without paying.  I have more important things to spend my money on.. 🤨 their practice is not cool!

I have yet to write a bad review on TOB.  Because I haven't had any, and I think that's mostly due to a lot of research and significant skepticism until I feel it's worth taking a shot.  

I've certainly had bad experiences outside of Denver, but here, I've been lucky - rather, investigative plus lucky.

Being on the other side, I agree. There just aren’t that many that are a bad experience. I consider myself a decent screener, and so that alleviates some riff-raff. Either that, or I’m incredibly lucky. Most folks are here for fun and are enjoyable.

I've relied on the reviews to help determine if I think someone is a good match for me.  There are a handful of gents whose reviews I trust and have appreciated being steered in the right direction.  I always ask if a lady wants a review or not.  Most have said, "Yes."  For me, writing them allows me to fondly remember the encounter.  I hope the reviews I've submitted have been helpful for both the ladies and the gents.  So for me, the reviews are a thumbs up.

This was true for me for many years when I was most active. I hit home run after home run on this method.  My reviews have been almost deleted by time, TOB upgrades and many retirements. Rates in a review can be a problem. No Not always. How long ago was the review made? That is why I like personal websites. Do you guys read them? Not always, but you can tell somebody. Please remember my website and i invite you to read it.

This is a very good point. Info in the review is stagnant, while things like rates and services might not be. Like was said in a another thread, I'd like to see a link to a website in the ad, and probably in the review as well, (like what is usually done here on TOB.) Ideally, that site would provide rates, some idea of services, and anything else the lady would like a perspective client to know about her.

I think the review is very helpful.  I just wish the gents would not post "treat her right".  I would hope that is mandatory behavior.  After reading several will give a good indication if she is a good fit.

Yeah that's... "cringe" as they say now.

I get it, the reviewer made a good connection and wishes the best for her.  Cool... then leave a good review that some other gent will find useful.

I agree.  Here's my thoughts:

• I assume any details are likely lies (especially on TER)
• I use the general tenor and number of reviews to determine if the lady is legit
• On PD, the ladies can respond to every review.  What she says and the way she says it tells me A LOT about her, including when she never responds to reviews there
• All ladies I've met have told me they used the reviews I've left as a way to get a feel for our interpersonal fit
• I only leave reviews if the lady wants me to
• I will only leave a negative review if she NCNS's, dashes, or something equally rude.  I always give the benefit of the doubt if the experience was MEH and don't leave a review.  It could've been a bad day or something I did caused the issue.

For me the interpersonal connection is incredibly important, so I'd hate if there were no longer any reviews available.

Along the lines of "treat her well".  She is my new ATF is another one. Especially, when the reviewer writes that about several providers he has met. It should be "My new ATF for the day".
