Not a very nice response when asking for approval. When you address us ladies you need to understand we are all individuals and have our own perspective. I thought the two ladies at Thanksgiving time were respectful with their responses. Also, I am happy you enjoyed your trip. Eastern slope ladies of CO spend the same amount of money as you do for rent, gas, groceries, additional needs. So please understand and factor that into the equation. If your companion comes from Denver, hell yeah I’ll be surprised.  And yeah, Maybe, the two of you are very close. I’m definitely not wanting  to pass judgment. There’s a lot of low rates posted on Tryst presently. I have seen these girls and I don’t know anything about them at least I don’t believe I do? They or their agency comes up with their own rates and that is fine. And personally, I sure as hell do not feel like I am able  to pass judgement on anyone. And no I am definitely not lowering my rates to match these new ladies advertising rates and no I don’t know them personally at all so I have nothing to base my own opinion on. Not that anyone cares but I have been at the same rates for six years + now and I know exactly how much money I need monthly to pay my personal bills. I keep to my budget and everything is working well for me. I have a modest savings too that I have not dipped into. So, 😴😴 Forgive me for being proud. I just know myself and my personal needs. I am sure I am not alone while speaking. Many of ladies are great with their own budgets.

The converse perspective is that the flight would cost over $1,200 if someone could purchase it (directs are sold-out), and the Andaz is $1,200 night (includes full-service [waiters, not fucking] 5-star meals, and one 90-minute massage during the stay). Call me cheap. I can take it.

The suggestion was posed: Why don't I just give the provider a bunch of money and not ask for anything in return? Um, no. I was absolutley expecting to pay SOME money for time (my gratification needs have a low bar), and be able to enjoy a nice trip. Believe me, got the message! You ladies really despise your customers. Got it. Fair enough. Sorry I asked!

Here's the relevant update: Got back from my annual pre-thanksgiving trip to Nayarit, MX last night. Let my sons bring their serious GFs this year for the first time, which afforded me the time opportunity to dabble in the local talent. Frankly, it wasn't just time that stopped me before, but a caution against incursions with LE while with my kids in a foreign country, but they are adults now, and this posting definitely left me NOT looking to bring someone along on any trips, so seemed like the time to try. OMG! What a bonanza. Truly, gents, get yourselves down to Mexico. A cornucopia of young, fit, attractive girls and the rates are about 1/4 to 1/3rd of Denver.

All I heard Was I'm Cheap. I can get all these nasty things with young barely Legal girls for a little of nothing.  Ok got it

Not sure what HUMINT is, or what your friend's shit luck has to do with time and companionship in the DR but the bucket list remains unchanged.

And here we go again. Yet another thread turned into a public pissing match. Where were we? Oh, yes. Travelling with companions. I've never had the financial wherewithal to fund such an adventure, so it has not been a consideration. I can definitely appreciate that a companion would view this use of time as  lost income if it was not compensated appropriately.  It would take a special companion/hobbyist relationship to make this work - and I not talking about BCD activities. Perhaps other hobbyists/companion can share anecdotes about scenarios where this DID  work out well for both parties....

That's how this whole thread started. My *hope* was to cover all the revenue one of my preferred providers would make during the trip time (my guess was $700-$1,000 per day based on their max frequency claims), cover all expenses and take them on a nice trip. I thought it would be a nice gesture and a pleasant time for all. The civil responses i received were to the effect of "You may think it sounds like a nice trip, but it will just be work for her. $3,000 a day is more like it". I accepted that as a real possibility, but wasn't interested in taking someone on a "work trip", if it wasn't going to be fun, it wasn't what i wanted, and i sure wasn't prepared to spend $15K for the privilege of taking them on a nice vacation. Fair enough. The less-civil responses called me ugly, cheap, vain, etc... because i was thinking $5,000 and a really nice vacation was an attracive offer. Whatever. I've got thick skin. 

Ended up hiring a local girl (somewhat local, she was a several-hours bus ride away). We had a great time, and she really did enjoy herself--which was important to me. I was on vacation and wanted to enjoy time with someone. Worked out well and I'm happy. It was VERY affordable. Even buying her meals, taking her shopping, getting her a surfing lesson and a spot on the fishing charter was all much less than I had anticipated to spend. i would definitely recommend giving it a try if it is something you're curious about.

I see what you mean by the low rates on Tryst, but I don't know they are any or all genuine. I messaged a couple of them and got bombarded with AI-generated photos and wanting $50 for $15 minutes of Facetime. No. I don't. Not ever. Hopefully Tryst can ferret that out, but it lends creedence to TOB and having a real review system.

In the course of 40+ years of hobbying I  have "traveled" twice with a different "Professional Companion" each time.

Both times as a +1 to a wedding. Both times I was asked by the young lady. I did not know anyone involved in the weddings except the lady I traveled with. 

Both times I covered all travel, lodging, meals and incidental expenses. First trip was a 10 hour drive to Oklahoma. Total time together 4 days, 3 nights together. Second trip was a 15 hour drive to the St. Louis, Mo area. Total time together 6 days, 5 nights. Both times Expectations were thoroughly discussed and agreed upon before we left.  Specific activities and times of activities were agreed upon. The  behavior towards one another in public and private was well established. We worked out a nice mix of Compensated Playtime and  friendship time. We both agreed on the need for: Leave me alone I need my space time.

I would not have agreed to go if I did not trust her to meet my expectations. I don't think either young lady would asked me to go if they did not trust me to honor their expectations.  In both instances, I was the recipient of some really fun, totally unexpected,: I appreciate all you are doing to make this possible time, from her.  

I had played with both young ladies several times before they asked. With proper planning, honest discussion before hand and, trust, my experience is: it can work.

For what it is worth.

Friendly advice.  Stop digging.  I don't think you are endearing yourself to the providers here....   

My take is that you couldn't handle the feedback, which sometimes might be 'harsh', or rather, just really honest.  

I'm glad you found a plan that worked for you, though.....
