I have sometimes used it to get a preview of a companion I have already decided to see - if the monthly subscription is modest. The experience has been mixed. Some have fabulous content, others are more sedate......

It depends on the amount of time and effort that is put into it.  I have found it very useful as part of my screening process and I enjoy viewing quality content knowing I have an in person encounter coming up. Similar to X profile etc. it is what you make of it.  A lackadaisical approach and ho hum content becomes a negative when trying to screen someone. Great content that makes one think "damn I would like to meet her" quite the opposite.

It’s my personal opinion but if the lady is not well known and her only website is OF, I’m less trusting of her unless there are at least 5 positive reviews.

LOL. When have I ever vilified you - nope, no intent at all.  Just curious, like I said.  But no one in this thread said as an only website, and I tried ten different ways to explain why that doesn't work over in the train wreck thread, so we agree on that setup.

Negative,  I've signed up to 2-3 ladies on onlyfans I was interested in seeing and when push come to shove they never offered a chance for an appointment, only more pay videos!

Mr Owl,  The last thread that you call a train wreck was largely due to your need for a pissing contest and making yourself the center of attention.  So it is understandable that when someone takes a position different than yours, they expect you to get in the weeds. 
 

The OP of this thread just asked of onlyFans was a plus or minus.    The response that OF as the only website is less trustworthy, is a perfectly valid response to the ladies OP.

I don't have OF, so to me it would make to difference. But, as others have mentioned, having only OF, and not any other site, or way to verify, that would be a negative. I could see the benefit of being able to log on somewhere, pay a few bucks, and see a short video of a lady I was considering booking with-nothing graphic, just a few moments of her introducing herself. Is that the kind of thing we are talking about.

Onlyfans gives the provider an opportunity to make a bucks and show their exhibitionist side, although it is no substitute for a real website preferably with pics, donations and activities offered/enjoyed. I hate when I press the web button and get the link to Onlyfans.

I don't think you understand how Only Fans or content creation works. Even more wild that you think a provider would film a random client for content. You cannot upload any content without all parties involved signing releases and submitting IDs for age verification.

What you suggested was a literal crime. And you don't need to read their rules to know that recording and uploading without permission is against the rules and the law.

I agree on the critique of concern about becoming content, but there are increasingly providers pushing subscription to their OF for times/services etc... I can certainly appreciate them wanting to promote scalable recurring revenue, but it is (at least in my case) two different types of clientele. I have no concern if a provider has an OF, but if it is a requirement, or required for "Platinum Executive" to borrow a term from American Airlines, than it is detracting.

I have seen OF used where the subscription and videos for the lady were free.  It was effective and directly impacted my decision to see her vs others. Wasn't there something about OF getting rid of adult content?

Nuance and common sense are dead. Both are crimes but one carries much more serious implications both legally and morally. It's a weird fantasy that a provider would secretly film her clients for content. I don't care if you don't use OF but I do care that you think you have to read their rules to know that uploading a video without permission or verification is against the rules.

I have considered it for that reason.  Things are getting tough for everyone and it seems the online is a continually growing market and feels like the hobby pool is shrinking… I have no idea I m not on OF……. Yet?!?!
