Any tips on finding new boards, using social media….? And more importantly, what basic steps do you take to check out an add? Phone number search? Image search? All these men/women calling the sites sketchy LOL are HYPOCRITES because on those same sites you have women that are also on TOB. So if the site is sketchy, I guess you think you are ALL OF THAT because you are on TOB with some of the same women that are on THE SKETCHY SITES. This is when you know people are just RUNNING THEIR MOUTHES and are not in THE COMMUNITY. I bet the ones calling the site sketchy won't go call the women on TOB sketchy LOL. Lastly, get to know your PROVIDERS Bro, don't just show up and bust one...................... Posted September 30 Maybe sketchy is too strong of a word, at least I know when I’m looking on TOB I can check their reviews and get a feel for what to expect. I guess my question really goes to the steps Guys find helpful when they come across listings that don’t have verifiable reviews. I have met people from other sites that say they can’t get on TOB, but they have been great experiences. but I have also come across a few more ads with only fans as their contact. Posted September 30 (edited) I've had great experiences with so-called sketchy site providers and, along with others, bad experiences with TOB ones, which you'd never guess by reading the vast majority of the reviews. Yes, reviews CAN be helpful, but the truth is hobbyists lie or omit the worst parts to keep their board standings, and YMMV. With no idea of how many saddles you've ridden, but you'll need to build upon and then rely on your intuition to recognize the red flags. The best sign of a bad experience waiting to happen, sass is never acceptable, and it's easy to spot in their ad copy when you know what to look for. Explicit language and photos are low hanging fruit for LE and stings. That said, usually if they're taking photos from a downward or upward angle where you can't see their whole body, they're hiding what they think you don't want to see. Never, ever exchange money for sex. Show up early and scout the area. And protect your identity at all costs. Maybe 6 listings on a good day for Springs not counting one day only catch me if you cans. Try to stay to semi reputable sites - Tryst, Private Delights, Slixa. Yes, I hear the buzzing about how all are the same, but that is bullshit. Callescorts, Erotic Monkey, Escortalligator etc are scrape sites and who knows what you will run into there. STG if you are experienced and know what you are doing is Ok and a few fomrer TOB members advertise there - at least down south. But a lot of scammers too. Yes, there are some reputable ladies on the listed scrape sites because they scraped the ladies' ads from other sites - stole them in other words. Just avoid is best advice. Yes, I always search the phone numbers and the photos and the listed handle of the lady. Red flags I am looking for are multiple ladies on same number, multiple locations being advertised at literally the same time, bad reviews, multiple phone numbers and handles for same pics, etc. I have even been known to search a sentence or two of the text of ad - amazing what turns up at times. If the ad contains drug references - pnp, party friendly etc. a hard pass, 420 friendly OK. How long is her ad history? If she has been advertising in one location for 6 months plus, she is a better bet than this is the first ad for the number and pics. If all else fails a little back channel checking with trustworthy guys that have similar likes and whose opinions usually prove accurate. Don't forget to search here even if they are not currently advertising here they may have prior reviews here. After a whole you notice some reviewers reviews are golden and informative and some other don't mean shit. Go with the gut is a great tool once you been around the block a few times. Posted September 30 OP seems to be looking for info about sourcing companions when travelling outside the Denver area. I no longer travel nationally as much as I did, but during that era I would use Tryst or P411 to locate potential playmates then search TER VIP for reviews. If in the US, P411, Tryst, Eros etc are national boards and you can probably find ladies there. I'm sure in most metropolitan area, they have their own "local board" such as a TOB. Tryst is nationally popular and has its respect but no review's on Tryst. TOB is a bit more old fashion in how it runs. To me it feels like most of the men have all of the control and of course mostly all Colorado patriots. I wish Octavia was back on here. We defiantly need more of a woman’s presence on here as we have no women of authority on here. .. And I feel if we did it would have a female mod it would encourage more of the companions to speak more openly by coming on the forum and talking Octavia was pretty neutral too with her style . Outside of mods and admins doing what they must do without favor, more authority only leads to false narratives that are antithetical to the open discussion boards need to thrive. As for men in control, where can the consumer side of any business equation be set aside and still have a functioning economy? But none of it matters if the OP doesn't have his own set of standards when looking at ads. And not like physical look, standards but things like does the provider have a website, a social media presence, reviews etc. Legitimate providers put in the effort to appear legit in ads and it's up to reader to comprehend it.
